Danielle Brown MBE is a British competitive archer and award winning children's author. She has competed in the Paralympic Games, winning gold medals in Beijing and London, and has also won medals shooting in the able-bodied category, including at the Commonwealth Games.

The 2014 ASEAN Para Games, officially known as the 7th ASEAN Para Games, was a Southeast Asian disabled multi-sport event held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar three weeks after the closing of the 2013 Southeast Asian Games from 14 to 20 January 2014. This was the first time Myanmar hosted the ASEAN Para Games.
Dian David Mickael Jacobs was an Indonesian athlete who competed in table tennis, primarily Class 10 para table tennis. Born in Ujung Pandang, he took up table tennis at the age of ten and rose quickly through national tournaments. He was training to play internationally by 2000, and in 2001 he won his first gold medal, at the SEATTA Championships in Singapore. After 2010 he competed in para table tennis, having spent most of his career competing against athletes with full functionality. Having lost control in his right hand, he decided to compete in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, winning a bronze medal.
John Stephen Stubbs is an English competitive archer. Stubbs has competed in four Summer Paralympic Games, winning gold in the men's individual compound at the 2008 Games and silver in the team compound open at the 2016 Games.
Mike Schloesser is a compound archer from the Netherlands. In 2015, he was the first person to hit a perfect 600/600, hence his nickname Mister Perfect. In December 2023 he surpassed Sara López as the longest-tenured world number one. Both had been in the top three since the beginning of the 2015 season. Schloesser had been holding the number one position in the world ranking since 24 May 2021. In March 2024 he broke the record for the longest consecutive days ranked number one.

Unlike the previous editions the games were held six months after the closing of the 2015 Southeast Asian Games. This was Singapore's first time as host of the ASEAN Para Games.
Riau Ega Agata Salsabilla is an Indonesian recurve archer. He represented Indonesia at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics.
Archery at the 2016 Summer Paralympics was held between 10 and 17 September 2016 at the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí in the Maracana zone of Rio de Janeiro, and consisted of nine events. Although featuring the same number of events as in the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, their make-up changed substantially, with three men's events, three women's events and three events for mixed gender teams. In each category, two events involved the compound bow - one for wheelchair athletes, the other open - with an open event for recurve bow, the bow used for all Olympic events.

Jonathon Milne is an Australian Paralympic archer. In April 2015 he won the National Para Championships, held in Melbourne. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics where he won a bronze medal. Milne won a bronze medal at the 2023 World Para Archery Championships. He competed at 2024 Paris Paralympics - his third Paralympics.
Singapore national cerebral palsy football team is the national cerebral football team for Singapore that represents the team in international competitions. Singapore has participated in a number of international tournaments, but never the Paralympic Games.
Jodie Michelle Grinham is a British archer who represents Great Britain in the Summer Paralympics. She won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro and at the 2024 Summer Paralympics she won team gold and individual bronze, while seven months pregnant with her second child.
Archery at the Pacific Games was first contested at the 1971 games at Papeete. Archery was made a core sport in 2021, and is thus required to be included at every subsequent edition of the Pacific Games. It has also been included in the Pacific Mini Games, firstly at Norfolk Island in 2001 and then Port Vila in 2017.

Roberto Alexander Hernández Maldonado is a Salvadoran archer competing in men's compound events. He won the gold medal in the men's individual compound event at the 2019 Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru. As a result, he became the first man from El Salvador to win gold at the Pan American Games. He was the flag bearer during the Parade of Nations at the 2019 Pan American Games opening ceremony.

Archery at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games was held in Konya, Turkey from 14 to 18 August 2022. Traditional Turkish Archery Competitions was heldd at Saraçoglu Sports Venue between 15 and 16 August 2022. For individual competitions, qualification, elimination and final elimination round shots was done, and for team competitions, elimination and final elimination rounds of the teams was done. Qualification rounds in Archery was made accordingly: Men’s and Women’s Recurve bow was 70m. 720 rounds, and Men’s and Women’s Compound bow was 50m. 720 Rounds. Para Archery competitions was held in Saraçoğlu Sport Complex between 09-13 August 2022. Competitions were held in Recurve Bow, Compound Bow and W1 Bows was held in Senior category. The qualification rounds of the competition was done as 720 rounds 70 m for Recurve bows, and 720 rounds 50 m for Compound Bows. Individual elimination and final rounds was done in each category after qualification rounds.
