The men's team compound archery competition at the 2018 Asian Games was held from 22 to 28 August at Gelora Bung Karno Archery Field. [1] [2]

Contents

A total of 16 teams participated in the ranking round to determine the seeds for knockout round. Each team consisted of the highest ranked three athletes from the qualification round.

The men's team recurve competition at the 2009 World Archery Championships took place on 4–9 September 2009 in Ulsan, South Korea. 33 teams of 3 archers took part in the men's recurve qualification round on 4 September. The 16 teams with the highest cumulative totals qualified for the 4-round knockout round on 7 September which was drawn according to their qualification round scores. The semi-finals and finals then took place on 8 September.

Sjef van den Berg is a retired Dutch competitive archer. He has won a total of two medals at the 2015 European Games, and eventually finished fourth in the men's individual archery at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Van der Berg currently trains at HBV Ontspanning in Sint-Oedenrode, under the tutelage of his coach Ron van der Hoff, a former Olympian at the Athens 2004 edition.

Lucas Daniel is a French competitive archer. He attained a fourth-place finish in the men's team recurve at the 2015 European Games, and eventually competed as a member of the French archery squad at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

David Pasqualucci is an Italian competitive archer. He won a silver medal in the men's team recurve at the 2015 World Championships, and also competed as a member of Italy's archery squad at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He currently trains under the tutelage of his coaches Fabio Pivari and Wietse van Alten, a Sydney 2000 Olympian from the Netherlands, for the Italian team, while shooting at the Tempio di Diana Archery Range in Rome.

Mitch Dielemans is a Dutch competitive archer. He won a bronze medal in the men's team recurve at the 2015 European Games, and eventually competed as a member of the Dutch archery squad at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Dielemans currently serves as an intern at the Dutch sport centre Papendal, while pursuing his studies major in commercial economics at the Randstad Topsport Academie in Deventer.

The men's individual archery event was one of five archery events at the 2020 Summer Olympics. It was held at Yumenoshima Park, in Tokyo, Japan. There were 64 competitors from 40 nations, with nations having either 1 or 3 archers.

The Mixed team compound open is one of three team events held in the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan. It contains eleven teams of one man and one woman, the ranking round having been held on 27 August and the knockout stage on 29 August.
