Chinese Taipei competed at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, from 18 August to 2 September 2018. At the last Games in Incheon, the country bagged a total 51 medals, including 10 gold, 18 silver, and 23 bronze. This time, Chinese Taipei is set to send a 738-strong team to compete in 36 of 40 sporting events, including 588 athletes. [2]

Abdul Azim Mohamad Zabidi, the Appeals Committee chairman of the Olympic Council of Malaysia was the chief of the delegation.

Ten national teams will compete in the women's field hockey tournament at the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia. A maximum of eighteen players were officially enrolled in each squad.

Chinese Taipei is scheduled to compete at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, South Korea, from January 19 to February 1, 2024. This will be Chinese Taipei's fourth appearance at the Winter Youth Olympic Games, having competed at every Games since the inaugural edition in 2012.
