Aalborg Municipality is a municipality in North Jutland Region on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. The municipality straddles the Limfjord, the waterway which connects the North Sea and the Kattegat east-to-west, and which separates the main body of the Jutland peninsula from the island of Vendsyssel-Thy north-to-south. It has a land area of 1,143.99 km2 (441.70 sq mi) and a population of 223,174.
Aars or Års, is a Danish town with a population of 8,671 in Himmerland, Denmark. Administratively, Aars is the municipal seat of Vesthimmerland Municipality and biggest town of Vesthimmerland Municipality, Region Nordjylland since 2007 and it was also the seat of the mayor in the now abolished Aars Municipality. The town was founded in the 14th century. It is one of the four principal towns of Vesthimmerland, the other ones being Farsø, Løgstør and Aalestrup. Aars is a former railway town. It is currently the 76 largest city in Denmark just behind Ribe but in front of Helsinge on Zealand, Sjælland. It is the 11th biggest town/city in Region Nordjylland in front of Skagen but just behind Sæby. The town has the nickname Cimbri's town.
Hadsund is a town in the eastern part of Jutland with a population of 4,965. The town is located by the narrow strait of Hadsund, along an inlet of the Mariager Fjord. It is situated south of the city of Aalborg and north of the city of Randers. The town is a part of Mariagerfjord Municipality in the North Denmark Region. Until 2007, Hadsund was the administrative seat of Hadsund Municipality.
Hobro is an old market and railway town in Region Nordjylland on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. It has a population of 12,217. The town is situated in a hilly terrain at the head of Mariager Fjord, close to the former Viking fortress of Fyrkat. It is the seat of Mariagerfjord municipality.

Arden municipality was a municipality in North Jutland County on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark until 1 January 2007. The municipality covered an area of 228 km2, and had a total population of 8,513 (2005). Its last mayor was Hans Christian Maarup, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party.

The Randers–Aalborg railway line is a 80.7 km (50.1 mi) long standard gauge double track railway line in Jutland, Denmark which runs through the historical region of Himmerland between the cities of Randers and Aalborg. It constitutes a section of the East Jutland longitudinal railway line, the through route along the east coast of the Jutland Peninsula from the German border at Padborg to the port city of Frederikshavn in North Jutland.
Havbro is a village in western Himmerland with a population of 377, located 7 km northeast of Farsø and 6 km west of Aars. The city belongs to the Vesthimmerland and is located in North Jutland. Havbro belong to Havbro Sogn and Havbro Church is located in the city. In the late 1800s Havbro had a hall which was built in 1885, bakery and nursery. Havbro had a station on Aalborg Hvalpsund rail and it was used from 1910 to 1969. The station is on Elevvej 15. The old train track is made into path you can run or go on.
