The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.

The Olympisch Stadion or Kielstadion was built as the main stadium for the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. For those games, it hosted the athletics, equestrian, field hockey, football, gymnastics, modern pentathlon, rugby union, tug of war, weightlifting and korfball (demonstration) events. Following the Olympics it was converted to a football stadium. Its current tenant is K Beerschot VA, a Belgian football club. There are no remnants of the Olympic athletics track.

Houssein Djama, Moussa Souleiman, Omar Daher Gadid, Ahmed Salah, and Talal Omar Abdillahi represented the nation in athletics, while Youssef Omar Isahak, Alaoui Mohamed Taher represented the nation in judo. Robleh Ali Adou represented Djibouti in sailing.
Water polo has been part of the Summer Olympics program since the second games, in 1900. A women's water polo tournament was introduced for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Hungary has been the most successful country in men's tournament, while the United States is the only team to win multiple times at the women's tournament since its introduction. Italy is the first and only country to win both the men's and women's water polo tournaments.

Slovenia first participated as an independent nation at the Olympic Games at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, and the country has sent athletes to compete at every Games since then. Grace Armah is a retired Ghanaian female track and field athlete who specialised in 100 metres and long jump events. She won a silver medal and a bronze medal in the 1984 and 1985 editions of the African Championships. Her personal best in 100 metres was 11.98. She also competed for Ghana in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles as part of Ghana's 4×100 metres relay women's team, which finished 5th in its semi-final heat and failed to progress to the final round.
Alexander Armah Jr. is an American football fullback for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at West Georgia and was selected by the Carolina Panthers in sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Armah has also been a member of the New Orleans Saints and Washington Football Team.
Adolf Armah is a Ghanaian former professional footballer who played as a defender. He is known for his involvement in the squad that won the 1978 African Cup of Nations.
