New Radicals was an American alternative rock band formed in 1997 in Los Angeles. The band was centered on the duo of Gregg Alexander and Danielle Brisebois, and augmented by session and touring musicians.
Gregg Alexander is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was the lead vocalist and frontman of the short-lived rock band New Radicals, who are best known for their 1998 single "You Get What You Give". The group disbanded after one album in 1999, with Alexander shifting focus onto production and songwriting work; he won a Grammy Award for his contributions to the 2003 single "The Game of Love" by Santana. He later co-wrote songs for the film Begin Again, including "Lost Stars", which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
Portable Life is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Danielle Brisebois. Originally scheduled for October 26, 1999, the album's release was delayed until September 2008, when RCA Records released the album as a digital download on iTunes and Amazon MP3. Promotional CD copies of Portable Life and the single "I've Had It" were pressed in 1999 and are now difficult to obtain.
Danielle Brisebois is an American producer, singer-songwriter and former child actress. She is best known for her role as Stephanie Mills on the Norman Lear-produced sitcoms All in the Family and its spin-off Archie Bunker's Place, as well as playing Molly in the original Broadway production of the musical Annie.
"Someday We'll Know" is a song by the New Radicals. It was released in March 1999 as the second single off their album Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too (1998). Lyrically, the song explores the confusion over why a relationship ended. The group dissolved before the single's release, and as a result the song failed to match the success of the preceding single, "You Get What You Give", which had topped the charts in New Zealand and Canada and peaked within the top 5 in the United Kingdom. In contrast, "Someday We'll Know" became a top 40 hit only in Brazil where it made number 38 there, and failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is the group's second and final single, and has been covered by numerous artists, including Mandy Moore & Jon Foreman of Switchfoot, America and Hall & Oates.

The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and was certified two-times platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. In Ireland, the album debuted at number three. In 2002, Destination was certified platinum by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry for shipments of one million copies inside Europe. In The County Of Kings is the fifth album from the Eric Stuart Band, in which Eric Stuart is the songwriter and lead singer. This album was released in 2007 under Stuart's own independent label, Widow's Peak Records. The title of the album comes from Kings County, Brooklyn, where Stuart was born and raised. In addition, the front cover art depicts the Brooklyn Bridge and New York City in juxtaposition with the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx of Giza, and the Valley of the Kings, which are in Egypt. The musical style of In The County Of Kings is more country-sounding than any previous Eric Stuart Band album, and is described by Eric Stuart as "Concrete Country." With regard to this, Stuart writes,
I was trying to come up with a way to explain the type of music I play. Americana was too rootsy, Folk-Rock only touched on a part of my sound and County/Rock made it sound like I wore a cowboy hat. I am born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, but I play music with a strong lyrical, melodic, story based approach. There are many country elements as well. I thought the combination of "Concrete" to connect with the sidewalks and buildings I grew up around as well as the rock connotations that word brings plus the "Country" would show I was touching on string songwriting and storytelling that went with country music.

The show was originally recorded live at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York on November 22, 2009. It includes a complete performance of Springsteen's debut album, Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J. along with several other rarities. The show was the last to feature Clarence Clemons before his 2011 death and also was the last date on the Working on a Dream Tour.
Begin Again (Music from and Inspired by the Original Motion Picture) is the soundtrack album accompanying the 2013 film of the same name, released on July 1, 2014, by ALXNDR, 222 Records, Polydor Records and Interscope Records. The album consisted original songs written and composed by Gregg Alexander, Danielle Brisebois, Nick Lashley, Rick Nowels, and Nick Southwood, with Keira Knightley and Adam Levine performing most of the tracks, and other artists associated with the film, included Alexander's Cessyl Orchestra, CeeLo Green and Hailee Steinfeld. The song "Lost Stars" was released as a single from the album on June 23, to positive reception and was nominated for numerous awards, including the Academy Award for Best Original Song and the Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Song. The track "Drowning Pool" by The Walls, which played over the opening credit sequence, is not included on the soundtrack album.
