Arumuganeri is a panchayat town at Tiruchendur constituency from Thoothukudi district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. In ancient times, the town was part of the Kuda Nadu division led by Korkai.[ citation needed ]
Arumuganeri is located at 8°34′05″N78°05′37″E / 8.5681°N 78.0937°E . [1] [2] It has an average elevation of 30 metres (100 feet).
As of the 2001 census of India, [3] the Arumuganeri Town Panchayat has a population of 27,266. In 2011, the census reported that 13,368 are males while 13,898 are females.
