Cucujoidea is a superfamily of beetles. They include many fungus beetles, as well as lady beetles. Also included are a diversity of lineages of "bark beetles" unrelated to the "true" bark beetles (Scolytinae), which are weevils.
Mahendranath Gupta, , was a disciple of Ramakrishna and a great mystic himself. he was the author of Sri Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita, a Bengali classic. He was also a teacher to Paramahansa Yogananda, a famous 20th-century yogi, guru and philosopher. In his book, Paramahansa Yogananda has highlighted his life in an amazing way. He considered himself as the child of Kali.
The Calcutta Group was a group of modern artists in India, formed in 1943 in Kolkata. It has the distinction of being the first artistic movement of its kind in both Bengal and all of India. Though short-lived – the group disbanded in 1953 – the Calcutta Group was instrumental in the transformation of contemporary Indian art and brought this genre onto the world stage.
Sri Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita is a Bengali five-volume work by Mahendranath Gupta (1854–1932) which recounts conversations and activities of the 19th century Indian mystic Ramakrishna, and published consecutively in years 1902, 1904, 1908, 1910 and 1932. The Kathamrita is a regarded as a Bengali classic and revered among the followers as a sacred scripture. Its best-known translation into English is entitled The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna (1942).

Byomkesh is a 2014 Indian Bengali crime fiction television series based on the Bengali sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The series stars Gaurav Chakrabarty, Saugata Bandyopadhyay and Ridhima Ghosh as Byomkesh Bakshi, Ajit and Satyabati respectively. The series premiered on 20 November 2014 on Colors Bangla channel and ended on 14 November 2015. The first episode was narrated by Sabyasachi Chakrabarty.
