As Long As You Want This is the first studio album by the Dutch rock band Kane, released in 2000.
In 1999, Kane released the single "Where Do I Go Now", before recording the album. The song became a minor hit thanks to the video channel TMF and the radion station 3FM. [1] In October 1999, the band recorded As Long As You Want This at the Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum and Studio Arnold Mühren in Volendam. The record was produced by Haro Slok and Henk Jan Smits, together with Kane vocalist Dinand Woesthoff.
The single "Where Do I Go Now" peaked at #29 on the Dutch Top 40, and the album reached #2 on the Dutch Album Top 100, selling 40,000 copies in its first two months. 250,000 copies were eventually sold in the Netherlands, certifying the record 2x Platinum. [2] In 2001, the band received an Edison award for As Long As You Want This. [3]

Within Temptation is a Dutch symphonic metal band founded in April 1996 by vocalist Sharon den Adel and guitarist Robert Westerholt. They have been classified by critics as gothic metal and symphonic metal, although each album contains other influences outside these genres. Their most prominent and well-known sound is described as symphonic metal, although their earlier material, such as debut album Enter, was mostly gothic metal, with Enter also having a hint of doom metal. In an interview, den Adel said they fell into a symphonic rock genre with various influences. In another interview, den Adel stated that "We consider ourselves more an atmospheric melodic symphonic metal/rock band... In my opinion, we are not a gothic band but we have gothic elements".
Vengaboys is a Dutch Eurodance music group based in Rotterdam consisting of lead vocalist Kim Sasabone, female vocalist Denise van Rijswijk and male vocalists Robin Pors and Donny Latupeirissa. Created by Dutch producers Wessel van Diepen and Dennis van den Driesschen, the group enjoyed commercial success in the late 1990s. They are best known for their hit singles "We Like to Party", "Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!", and "We're Going to Ibiza", the latter two of which topped the UK Singles Chart and have sold an estimated 25 million records worldwide.
"Don't You Want Me" is a song by British synth-pop group the Human League. It was released on 27 November 1981 as the fourth single from their third studio album, Dare (1981). The band's best known and most commercially successful song, it was the best selling UK single of 1981, that year's Christmas number one, and has since sold over 1,560,000 copies in the UK, making it the 23rd-most successful single in UK Singles Chart history. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the US on 3 July 1982, where it stayed for three weeks.

Ilse Annoeska de Lange, better known as Ilse DeLange, is a Dutch country and pop rock singer-songwriter. In 1998, she gained fame with her single 'I'm Not So Tough', which later became multiple platinum in The Netherlands. Other hits were "Miracle", "So Incredible" and "The Great Escape".
Kane is a Dutch rock band formed in 1998 in the Hague. As of 2023, it consists of Dinand Woesthoff and Dennis van Leeuwen (guitar). Throughout their career, Kane have released seven studio albums, five live albums, and one compilation. The group split up in 2014. In 2023, they announced a reunion for the following year.
The Dutch Top 40 is a weekly music chart compiled by Stichting Nederlandse Top 40. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting. Joost den Draaijer initiated the Top 40 in the Netherlands. Produced by Danja and featuring guest vocals by Elliott, the song was released by Bad Boy Records on July 1, 2008 as the second and final single from the band's second studio album, Welcome to the Dollhouse (2008). It peaked at number 85 on the US Billboard Pop 100, marking the last release from the group before their early 2009 breakup.
