Ashaiman is a large town and the capital of the Ashaiman Municipal District in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Ethnic groups who resided in Ashaiman are the Ga-Adangbe, Ga, Guan, Hausa, Fante people, Dagomba, Ewe, Ashanti, and Akuapem. The current Omanhene of the town is Nii Annang Adzor.
