Asher Hill (born March 19, 1991) is a Canadian retired ice dancer. With previous partner Kharis Ralph, he is the 2008 Canadian national junior champion and 2011 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist. He teamed up with Nicole Orford in 2015.
He has since also collaborated with Dylan Moscovitch, in the program That Figure Skating Show, interviewing figure skaters and commenting on seasonal competitions.
Hill attended Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University), studying occupational health and safety. [1] He has a twin sister, Acacia. [1] Residing in Pickering, he has worked as a coach and choreographer. [2]
Asher Hill began skating at age four and took up ice dancing at ten. [3] [4] He skated as a solo dancer before finding a partner. [5] He also competed as a single skater at the national level until 2009.
Hill teamed up with Kharis Ralph in 2002. [3] [4] The two won the Canadian pre-novice title in 2006 and the Canadian novice title in 2007. In 2007–08, they debuted on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series and became the 2008 Canadian junior champions.
Ralph/Hill were 8th at the 2008 World Junior Championships. The following season, they won two silver medals on the 2008–2009 ISU Junior Grand Prix circuit and rose to 5th at the World Junior Championships.
Ralph/Hill took another pair of silver medals on the 2009–10 ISU Junior Grand Prix series and placed 4th on the senior level at the 2010 Canadian Championships. They were assigned to their first senior ISU Championships, the 2010 Four Continents, where they placed 6th.
In 2011–12, Ralph/Hill won the bronze medal at the 2011 Nebelhorn Trophy. [6] [7] They were fourth at the 2012 Canadian Championships and were assigned to the 2012 World Championships. [3] Ralph/Hill finished 13th at Worlds. Their partnership ended when Ralph retired from competition at the end of the 2013–14 season. [8]
Hill teamed up with Nicole Orford following a tryout held in April 2015. [9] At the end of the 2015-2016 season, they announced their retirement on Hill's Instagram page.

Evan Bates is an American ice dancer. With his wife and skating partner, Madison Chock, he is the 2022 Olympic gold medalist in the team event, the 2023 and 2024 World champion, the 2023–24 Grand Prix Final champion, a three-time Four Continents champion, and a five-time U.S. national champion. The two represented the United States at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics.
Todd Gilles is an American former ice dancer. With Trina Pratt, he won four ISU Junior Grand Prix medals and the 2005 U.S. national junior title, and placed sixth at the 2006 World Junior Championships. With Jane Summersett, he is the 2008 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist. He also skated with Emily Samuelson for one season.

With Tatiana Volosozhar, he is a two-time 2014 Olympic champion in the pairs and in team events, the 2013 World champion, a four-time European champion, the 2012 Grand Prix Final champion, and a three-time Russian national champion. Keiffer J. Hubbell is an American ice dancer. He competed with his sister Madison Hubbell from 2001 to 2011. They are the 2010 Four Continents bronze medalists, two-time U.S. pewter medalists, and 2006 Junior Grand Prix Final champions.

Maia Harumi Shibutani is a retired American ice dancer. Partnered with her brother Alex Shibutani, she is a two time 2018 Olympic bronze medalist, a three-time World medalist, the 2016 Four Continents champion, and a two-time U.S. national champion. The siblings have won six titles on the Grand Prix series and stood on the podium at 14 consecutive U.S. Championships, at five levels including eight as seniors. They are two-time members of the US Olympic team, competing at the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics. In 2018, the siblings became the first ice dancers who are both of Asian descent to medal at the Olympics. They are the second sibling duo to ever share an ice dancing Olympic medal, and the first from the United States. The Shibutani siblings are often referred to by their nickname the Shib Sibs.

The 2011–12 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final was an international figure skating competition in the 2011–12 season. The ISU Junior Grand Prix Final was organized together with the senior event. The two competitions were the culmination of two international series, the 2011–12 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating for senior-level skaters and the 2011–12 ISU Junior Grand Prix for juniors.
The 2011 Nebelhorn Trophy took place on September 21–24, 2011 at the Eislaufzentrum Oberstdorf. It is held annually in Oberstdorf, Germany and is named after the Nebelhorn, a nearby mountain.
Nicole Orford is a Canadian former ice dancer. With former partner Thomas Williams, she placed fifth at the 2014 Four Continents Championships. She teamed up with Asher Hill in 2015.
