Ashraf Aliyev (born July 29, 1986) is a male freestyle wrestler. He participated in the Men's freestyle 74 kg at the 2012 Summer Olympics. [1]
Wrestling at the Olympic Games first appeared at the first international Olympic Games in modern history, in the form of Greco-Roman wrestling, held in Athens in 1896. Wrestling would appear at every Summer Olympics held since then, with the exception of the 1900 Summer Olympics when wrestling did not appear on the program. Freestyle wrestling and weight classes both made their first appearance at the 1904 Summer Olympics. Women's freestyle wrestling competition was first held at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
Sazhid Khalilrakhmanovich Sazhidov is a Russian Olympic wrestler who represented his country at the world-level from 2003 to 2006. He won the bronze medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
Clarissa Kyoko Mei Ling Chun (陳美玲) is the head coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes Women's wrestling program, formerly, the USA Wrestling assistant National coach and an American Olympic women's freestyle 48 kg (105.5 lbs) wrestler. Chun was the first female wrestler from Hawaii to win a medal at the Olympics. She was inducted into the 2018 Hawaii Sports Hall of Fame and 2022 National Wrestling Hall of Fame as a Distinguished Member.

Vladimer Khinchegashvili is a Georgian freestyle wrestler who competes in 55–61 kg categories. He won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics and a gold at the 2016 Olympics. He also won a world title in 2015 and European titles in 2014, 2016 and 2017. In 2015, he was selected as Male Georgian Athlete of the Year by the Georgian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. Ali Zurkanaevich Aliev was a Soviet freestyle wrestler of Avar-Dagestani descent. He won five world titles and was the first wrestler from Dagestan to win a world title in freestyle wrestling. After his death, the Russian Wrestling Federation has hosted the annual Ali Aliev Memorial International Wrestling Meeting at the Ali Aliev Wrestling Training Center in Kaspiysk, Dagestan, Russia.
Shamil Magomedovich Kudiyamagomedov is a retired Russian Naturalized Italian amateur wrestler of Avar heritage, who won the gold medal in men's freestyle 86 kg at the 2015 Military World Games. He is Russian national champion (2013), Italian national champion (2018), silver medalist of Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan. Junior World Championships bronze medalist 2012. He won bronze medal with an injured leg. International Master of Sports in Freestyle Wrestling. He competed in the freestyle 84 kg event at the 2013 World Wrestling Championships, after defeated Adrian Jaoude from Brazil in the Round of 64, he was eliminated by Olympic bronze medalist Ehsan Lashgari in the Round of 32. In 1/2 final European Championships U23 he lost 7-6 his teammate of Magomedgadzhi Khatiyev, but went on to wrestle back and win a bronze medal against Fatih Erdin of Turkey. At the Memorial Heydar Aliyev 2014 he beat in final Ehsan Lashgari. In 2016 he won European Championships. In 2020 Shamil announced his retirement
Akhmed Osmanovich Chakaev is a Russian freestyle wrestler of Chechen ethnicity. World freestyle wrestling bronze medalist. He is a silver medalist in the Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin 2009 in the Freestyle men's 60 kg event. He won the Ali Aliyev Memorial, winner of Russian nationals in 2009 and 2012 and the bronze medal in 2014. In Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin 2015 in round one 65 kg, he defeated American prospect Cadet World champion and Silver Junior World Championships Aaron Pico.

Takuto Otoguro is a Japanese freestyle wrestler who competes at 65 kilograms. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, Otoguro claimed the gold medal after beating the likes of defending World Champion Gadzhimurad Rashidov and three-time World Champion Haji Aliyev. A Cadet World Champion, Otoguro first broke into the senior scene when he went undefeated (16–0) in 2018, claiming the World Championship and the National Championship at age 19. He then went on to become a two–time Asian Continental Champion.
