The club plays its home domestic games at the Farie Hoti Sports Palace, and they play their international games at the Asllan Rusi Sports Palace. Tirana are one of the two most successful teams in the history of Albanian basketball (men), having won the Albanian League 21 times, the Albanian Cup 19 times and the Albanian Supercups 8 times. They have won a total of 48 trophies, which is the most in the country along with BC Partizani Tirana.

KV Tirana are the men's and women's volleyball branches of multiple sport club SK Tirana, a major sports club in Tirana, Albania. KV Tirana volleyball men's and women's team are amongst the successful and historical squads in Albania.

Asllan Rusi was a former Albanian volleyball player who played for Dinamo Tirana and the Albania men's national team. He is memorialized in the naming of the Asllan Rusi Sports Palace, Albania's main indoor sporting arena. He was a 12 time national champion and a 7 time cup winner in Albania and he earned 40 international caps with Albania.
