Aslı Enver (born 10 May 1984) is a British-born Turkish Cypriot actress. She is best known for her roles in several TV series including as Mine in Kavak Yelleri , as Ahu Kumral in Suskunlar and as Süreyya in İstanbullu Gelin . She is also known for her roles in Kayıp, Bana Artık Hicran De, Kardeşim Benim, Tamam mıyız? and Babil.

Biography

Enver was born on 10 May 1984, in London, England, and lived there until she was 12 years old. [3] Her father is a Turkish Cypriot who grew up in London and met and married Enver's mother there, while she was abroad for her studies. [3] As a teenager, Aslı Enver won a song contest in London. She started theatre at Mujdat Gezen Art Centre in Istanbul. She studied at Pera Fine Arts High School and graduated in theatre studies from Haliç University. [4] She had her first minor-guest role in Uzay Sitcomu . Later, she had a part in the hit young series Hayat Bilgisi and played the main character "Mine Ergun" in the popular youth series Kavak Yelleri (a remake of Dawson's Creek ) for five seasons. She played as Ahu Kumral in Suskunlar which the first Turkish drama sold to the USA market for remake. [5] She has acted in the movies Tamam mıyız? and Kardeşim Benim and starred in the TV series Kayıp, Bana Artık Hicran De, Mutlu Ol Yeter and Kış Güneşi. [6]

Personal life

On 13 July 2012, Enver married Birkan Sokullu. [3] On 27 August 2015, they made a statement through their lawyers and announced their divorce.

In 2015, she became close to her Kardeşim Benim costar, Murat Boz, with whom she started a relationship in 2016. The couple broke up in May 2017. [7] After a few months of reconciliation, they eventually ended their relationship in April 2018. In November 2018, they announced their reconciliation after 8 months of separation. [8] However, they broke up again in October 2019. [9]

On 12 November 2022, Enver married businessman Berkin Gökbudak. [10] The couple's daughter, Elay, was born in July 2023. [11]

Dolunay Soysert [12] and Nilay Sorgüven [13] are among her close friends.

In May 2020, she confirmed that she had been diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age. [14]

Turkish pop singer Murat Boz's discography consists of four studio albums, one compilation album, one EP, eight singles and four duet single. Boz was born in Zonguldak and started his music career in 2001. He worked as a backing vocalist for Tarkan for 5 years. In 2006, he made his debut by releasing the single "Aşkı Bulamam Ben". In 2007, his first studio album, Maximum, was released. The album's lead single topped Turkey's official music charts. This was the first time that his name appeared on music charts inside Turkey. The following year, he released his first EP, titled Uçurum. His second studio album, Şans, was released in 2009. The songs "Para Yok", "Özledim", "Her Şeyi Yak", "Sallana Sallana", "Gümbür Gümbür" and "Buralardan Giderim" from this album were turned into music videos, and Soner Sarıkabadayı appeared in the video for "İki Medeni İnsan". Boz released his second single, "Hayat Sana Güzel", in March 2010. On 12 April 2011, a music video for the lead single from the album Aşklarım Büyük Benden was released. On 9 May 2011, the album itself was released. The songs "Hayat Öpücüğü", "Geri Dönüş Olsa", "Kalamam Arkadaş", "Bulmaca" and "Soyadımsın" from this album were the pieces for which separate music videos were released. Ân (Moment) is the debut studio album by Turkish singer Edis. It was released on 7 March 2018 by DMC. With the release of his first song "Benim Ol" he earned fame and won the appreciation of music critics, yet it took him four years to release his first album. During that period, he changed the production company with whom he had been working, and this further postponed the release of the album. Many of the songs in the album are written by Edis alone, while others were prepared with the help of Alper Narman, Onurr and Yasemin Mori.

In 2015, she directed the first episode of Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem. In 2016, she served as a creative director in the series Arkadaşlar İyidir. Her latest work is İstanbullu Gelin, which premiered in 2017. With three seasons in total, it was a nominee for the Telenovela award at the 46th International Emmy Awards.
