Aspen Peak is a regional magazine that was founded by Niche Media's Jason Binn. Niche Media was later renamed GreenGale Publishing. The publication primarily targets Aspen's most affluent residents and visitors. Niche Media was founded by Jason Binn in 1992. [2] In 2010, Binn sold Niche Media to GreenGale Publishing, formerly known as Greenspun Media Group. He stepped down as CEO and went on to become Chief Advisor to Gilt Group Chairman Kevin Ryan [3] and CEO and Founder of DuJour. [4] GreenGale was acquired by Modern Luxury in 2017. [5]

Profile

Aspen Peak was first published in July 2004. [6] The magazine attempts to cover the best that Aspen has to offer in the worlds of art, beauty, business, culture, dining, entertainment, fashion, interior design, jewelry and watches, nightlife, philanthropy, politics, real estate, sports, and travel, plus, of course, the inside scoop on gossip, society, and the Colorado social scene. It also features local trendsetters as some of their writing staff who explore all the mountain community has to offer. [7]

Published twice a year, [8] once in the summer/fall and once in the winter/spring, serving as Aspen's own coffee table book. Erin Lentz served as the editor-in-chief of the magazine. [9]

Black Enterprise is a black-owned multimedia company. Since the 1970s, its flagship product Black Enterprise magazine has covered African-American businesses with a readership of 3.7 million. The company was founded in 1970 by Earl G. Graves Sr. It publishes in both print and on digital, an annual listing of the largest African-American companies in the country, or "B.E. 100s", first compiled and published in 1973. Jason Binn is an American publisher and entrepreneur known for founding Niche Media and DuJour Media.

DuJour is a print and digital luxury lifestyle publishing brand. Its chief publication is DuJour Magazine, a controlled circulation quarterly print magazine for which subscribers must fulfill highly specific wealth requirements, with one of the criteria being "a net worth of over $5 million". There is also a monthly digital version, and a weekly e-mail newsletter. The print publication is distributed to more than 100,000, and is audited by BPA Worldwide. The average age of its readership is 41.
