Scouting, also known as the Scout Movement, is a worldwide youth social movement employing the Scout method, a program of informal education with an emphasis on practical outdoor activities, including camping, woodcraft, aquatics, hiking, backpacking, and sports. Another widely recognized movement characteristic is the Scout uniform, by intent hiding all differences of social standing in a country and encouraging equality, with neckerchief and campaign hat or comparable headwear. Distinctive uniform insignia include the fleur-de-lis and the trefoil, as well as merit badges and other patches.
Slovenský skauting, is the primary national Scouting and Guiding organization of Slovakia. Currently has around 7000 members. With 3,157 Scouts and about 3,000 Guides. Slovenský Skauting is the largest youth organization in Slovakia and a member of both the World Organization of the Scout Movement and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
The Africa Scout Region is the divisional office of the World Scout Bureau of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, with satellite offices in Cape Town, South Africa, and Dakar, Senegal. The Africa Region services Scouting in Sub-Saharan Africa and neighboring islands that are recognized members of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). Currently, the region has 39 member National Scout Associations/Organizations and 11 potential members. There are about one million registered Scouts in Africa, though it is suspected that there are about twice that number in the region. The large nations of Guinea-Bissau and the Central African Republic, and several smaller nations, are not yet WOSM members, for various reasons.
Scouting and Guiding Federation of Turkey is the national Scouting and Guiding federation of Turkey. It serves 33,974 Scouts and 2,883 Guides. The federation is a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement since 1950, and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts since 1987.
The Central African Republic is one of 29 countries where Scouting exists but where there is no National Scout Organization which is a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement at the present time. Scouting was founded in French Equatorial Africa in 1941, and was first recognized in 1969. The Fédération du scoutisme centrafricain, or FESCA, is the national federation of seven Scouting organizations. While FESCA was still recognized in 1990, there were 7,000 Scouts, and total membership at the end of 1998 was reported as being the same number.
The Association des Scouts et Guides du Congo is one of the national Scouting and Guiding organizations of the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville). The coeducational organization was founded in 1992 and has about 40 groups with 3,000 members, but there is no national organization recognized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
The International Scout and Guide Fellowship (ISGF) is a worldwide organization of adults in support of Scouting and Guiding.
The Asociación de Guías Scouts Dominicanas is the national Guiding organization of the Dominican Republic. It serves 588 members. Founded in 1961, the girls-only organization became a full member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1969. The Dominican Republic Girl scout uniforms are the same as the United States uniforms.
The Association des Guides du Tchad is the national Guiding organization of Chad. The girls-only organization is a full member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. Girl Guiding in Chad is active in both urban and rural areas. The association has a strong and growing membership, which stood at 15,765 as of 2018.
The Girl Guides Association of Namibia is the national Guiding organization of Namibia. It serves 1,124 members. Founded in 1923 as the Girl Guides Association of South-West Africa, the girls-only organization became a full member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1993.

Les Guides de la République Démocratique du Congo is the national Guiding organization of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was founded in 1991 and became an associate member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) in July 2008. The association serves 7,784 girls.
The International Fistball Association is the umbrella organization of all national fistball organizations worldwide. It is member of the Alliance of Independent Recognized Members of Sport, within the Global Association of International Sports Federations. It is also a member of The Association for International Sport for All.
The Mouvement des Guides et Eclaireuses du Niger is the national Guiding organization of Niger. It became an associate member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 2017. Delegates from Niger and prospect countries Ethiopia and Mozambique attended the 11th Africa Regional Conference from 26 to 31 July 2016 in Nairobi, Kenya.
