Astrid Steverlynck (born 24 February 1968) is an Argentine alpine skier. She competed at the 1988 Winter Olympics and the 1992 Winter Olympics. [1]

She competed in four Winter Olympics, earning a total of five medals. Chinese Taipei sent a delegation to compete at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from 12–28 February 2010. The Tongan delegation consisted of one luge athlete, Bruno Banani, who had changed his name in a marketing gimmick to match that of German brand Bruno Banani. In his event, the men's singles, he came in 32nd place out of 39 competitors.
