Atheists, Reconsider is a split EP between two Brooklyn groups: Oneida and Liars. Each band contributes two original songs, plus one cover of a composition by the other band. The album art was designed by Karl LaRocca/Kayrock Screenprinting.
Boredoms is a rock band from Osaka, Japan formed in 1986. The band's sound is often referred to as noise rock, or sometimes Japanoise, though their more recent records have moved toward repetitive psychedelic rock, ambient soundscapes, and tribal drumming.
Calexico is an American indie rock band based in Tucson, Arizona. Founded in 1996, the band's two main members, Joey Burns and John Convertino, first played together in Los Angeles as part of the group Giant Sand. They have recorded a number of albums on Quarterstick Records and City Slang, and their 2005 EP, In the Reins, recorded with Iron & Wine, reached the Billboard 200 album charts. Their musical style is influenced by traditional Latin sounds of mariachi, conjunto, cumbia, and tejano mixed with country, jazz, and post-rock.
Liars are an Australian-American experimental rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 2000. Angus Andrew is the founding and only constant member of Liars, currently joined by multi-instrumentalist Cameron Deyell and drummer Laurence Pike. Aaron Hemphill played with the band from their inception until his amicable departure from the project in 2017. Julian Gross joined the band for their second album They Were Wrong, So We Drowned in 2004, and played with the band until his departure in 2014. Liars have released ten studio albums and are signed to Mute Records. Stylistically, they combine elements of rock and punk with experimental electronica, with Andrew crediting influences such as Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), The Cure, PJ Harvey, Underworld, The Doors and Michael Franks.
They Threw Us All in a Trench and Stuck a Monument on Top is the first album by dance-punk band Liars. The album was first released on October 30, 2001, by Gern Blandsten Records and later re-released in 2002 by English label Blast First. It displays the band in its original line-up with singer Angus Andrew, guitarist Aaron Hemphill, bassist Pat Noecker, and drummer Ron Albertson.

Oneida is an American experimental rock band from Brooklyn, New York, United States. Their influences include psychedelic rock, krautrock, electronic, noise rock, and minimalism, but the overall structure and intent of their music is not taken directly from any of these styles. Common elements found in their music include improvisation, repetition, driving rhythms, antique and analog equipment, and an overall eclecticism.

Liar is the third studio album by American alternative rock band The Jesus Lizard, released in 1992 by Touch and Go Records. The album is considered to be among the band's best work: according to Mark Deming of AllMusic, "Liar isn't quite the wildest or weirdest album the Jesus Lizard ever made, but it may well be the strongest, and perhaps the best." The artwork is "Allegory of Death" by painter Malcolm Bucknall, who also provided art for the album Down and the "Puss/Oh, the Guilt" split single with Nirvana.

No Age is an American noise rock duo consisting of guitarist Randy Randall and drummer/vocalist Dean Allen Spunt. The band is based in Los Angeles, California, and was signed to Sub Pop records from 2008 to 2013. No Age's fourth studio album, Snares Like a Haircut, was released by Drag City on January 26, 2018. Sisterworld is the fifth studio album by experimental rock trio Liars, released on March 9, 2010. The album was written and recorded in Los Angeles with assistance from Tom Biller. In early November, a link was posted on their official Mypace page directing users to www.thesisterworld.com, where "Scissor", the premiere track from Sisterworld was made available for free download and streaming. An expanded version of the album is being released with a bonus remix disc featuring remixes from Radiohead's Thom Yorke, TV on the Radio's Tunde Adebimpe, Blonde Redhead's Kazu Makino, Deerhunter's Bradford Cox, Melvins and others. The music video for "Scissor", directed by Andy Bruntel, won the Best Music Video award at the Vimeo Festival + Awards 2011. In October 2011, NME placed "Scarecrows on a Killer Slant" at number 68 on its list "150 Best Tracks of the Past 15 Years".
Death Grips is an American experimental hip hop group formed in 2010 in Sacramento, California. The group consists of producers Zach Hill (drums) and Andy Morin (keyboards), and vocalist Stefan Burnett, also known as MC Ride. Though he is not the group's frontman, Hill has been credited with being the driving creative force behind the project. Drawing from punk rock, electronic, noise, and industrial styles, the band's innovative and often difficult-to-categorize sound has earned critical acclaim and a cult following, while their aggressive performance style and cryptic interactions with their fans and the media have gained widespread notoriety.
We All Raise Our Voices to the Air is a 2012 live album by the folk rock band The Decemberists. The album was recorded during the 2011 Popes of Pendarvia World Tour to promote the album The King Is Dead at venues across the United States. The album was released as a double Compact Disc and a triple vinyl LP set. The title comes from a line in the track "The Infanta", from the album Picaresque.
Mess is the seventh studio album by music trio Liars, released on Mute Records on 24/25 March 2014. In a press release, singer Angus Andrew said the recording process had been "almost the exact opposite" of creating their last album WIXIW and that "instead of being doubtful, work on the new album has been immediate, fun, instinctual and confident". The record was largely recorded at the band's own No Gold Studios in Los Angeles.
TFCF is the eighth studio album by Liars, released on August 25, 2017, through Mute Records. Angus Andrew is the only original member of Liars to feature on the album, following the departures of Julian Gross and Aaron Hemphill in 2014 and 2017 respectively.
Romance is a studio album by the alternative rock band Oneida. It was released in 2018 by Joyful Noise Recordings, to generally positive reviews. It was the first album that the band produced in a studio since the loss of the Ocropolis, which was destroyed when the Monster Island Building came down in 2011, as a result of gentrification.
