Atwater is an unincorporated community in Upson County, in the U.S. state of Georgia. [1]

History

A post office called Atwater was established in 1901, and remained in operation until 1907. [2] The community was incorporated in 1902. [3]

Sprewell Bluff Park, formerly Sprewell Bluff State Park, is a 1,372 acre (5.55 km2) Upson County, Georgia, park located between Roland and Crest. The park's location on the Flint River makes it a great place for swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and whitewater rafting. The park features a three-mile walking trail (4.8 km) that winds along the bank of the river and up rocky bluffs, offering views of the park below.

Georgia's 3rd congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Georgia. The district is currently represented by Republican Drew Ferguson. The district's boundaries have been redrawn following the 2010 census, which granted an additional congressional seat to Georgia. The first election using the new district boundaries were the 2012 congressional elections.

Upson-Lee High School is a secondary school in Thomaston, Georgia, United States. It is the only high school in Upson County. It is a combination of the former R. E. Lee Institute and Upson High School, both previously located in Upson County. Upson-Lee High School serves 1284 students with a diverse and challenging selection of academic and elective courses, Advanced Placement and honors programs, sixteen CTAE pathways, Navy JROTC, and dual enrollment with Gordon State College and Southern Crescent Technical College. The school offers eighteen varsity sports along with academic teams and clubs.

Galloway is an unincorporated community in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is located at 43°19′54″N84°22′10″W on the boundary between Lakefield Township in Saginaw County and Lafayette Township in Gratiot County.
