Aue-Fallstein was a short-lived municipality in the district of Harz, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was formed on 11 September 2003 by the merger of the former municipalities Dardesheim, Deersheim, Hessen, Osterode am Fallstein, Rohrsheim, Veltheim and Zilly. [1] On 1 January 2010, it was merged into the town Osterwieck. [2]
Knappensee was a municipality in the northeastern part of Saxony, Germany, east of Hoyerswerda. It was formed in 1995 by the merger of the three municipalities Groß Särchen, Koblenz and Wartha, and was named after the lake Knappensee. In 2004 it was disbanded. Groß Särchen and Koblenz became parts of Lohsa, Wartha became a part of Königswartha.

Seeland is a town in the Salzlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated northwest of Aschersleben. It was formed by the merger of the previously independent municipalities Friedrichsaue, Frose, Hoym, Nachterstedt and Schadeleben on 15 July 2009. Before this date, these municipalities cooperated in the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Seeland, which also contained the municipality Gatersleben. Gatersleben joined Seeland in September 2010.
