August Uihlein Pabst III is a former racing driver and current team owner of Pabst Racing. He is also the great-great grandson of Frederick Pabst, founder of the Pabst Brewing Company, and the great-great grandson of August Uihlein of Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company.
Augie was born into a racing family. His father, Augie Pabst, won the SCCA National Sports Car Championship in the B Modified class in 1960.
Pabst started his auto racing career in Sports Car Club of America in 1991. After racing in Formula Ford Pabst started in the Shelby Can-Am class. The driver from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin won the 1995 Cen-Div Division National championship in the amateur Shelby Can-Am class. [1] and placed second in the Dodge Pro Series. The following year Pabst competed in the Formula Continental class placing nineteenth in the Cen-Div National championship. [2]
In 1997 Pabst competed his last season in the United States Formula Ford 2000 National Championship Archived 2017-10-12 at the Wayback Machine . Racing a Van Diemen chassis Pabst scored various top ten finishes placing thirteenth in the championship standings. [3]
In 1998 Pabst took over Pabst Racing Services expanding the race team. Pabst focused on the servicing of a variety of race cars for clients. The team was most dedicated to their USF2000 entry. Tõnis Kasemets was one of the drivers successful for the Pabst team winning races in the series. In 2005 Pabst was the crew chief for Kasemets in the Atlantic Championship. Kasemets entered his own team, Team Tonis, which was technically supported by Pabst Racing Services.
Pabst Racing is a four-time U.S. F2000 National Championship team champion (2017-19, 2022), and fields teams at the USF2000 and USF Pro 2000 levels.

The USF2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires is an American racing series using the American variation of the Formula Ford formula, "F2000", that resumed operation for the 2010 season. As of 2022, it is sanctioned by the United States Auto Club, and is the second rung of the Road to Indy.
Formula Enterprises or Formula SCCA is a class of open wheel race car sanctioned by the Sports Car Club of America. A spec racing class, all chassis are produced by SCCA Enterprises in association with Van Diemen and include a sealed Mazda MZR powerplant. The chassis can also be fitted with closed-wheel bodywork and converted into a sportscar to race in C Sports Racer or the L3 class of IMSA Prototype Lites. For the 2012 season, the car was also accepted into the U.S. F2000 National Championship's National Class. According to the manufacturer's website, as of March 2010, 120 of the cars have been sold.
The 2012 U.S. F2000 National Championship is a season of the U.S. F2000 National Championship, an open wheel auto racing series that is the first step in IndyCar's Road to Indy ladder. It is the third full season of the series since its revival in 2010. Rookie Australian/American driver Matthew Brabham, son of Geoff Brabham, captured the title over is Cape Motosports teammate, second-year American Spencer Pigot by seven points in the final pair of races at Virginia International Raceway. Even though Pigot won the final two races of the season, Brabham's lead was large enough and his finishes in the final two races were high enough to capture the championship. Brabham only won four races compared to Pigot's eight wins. However, Brabham only failed to finish in the top-10 once with a single DNF while Pigot finished outside the top-10 three times in what would ultimately decide the championship. The only other driver to capture a race win during the season was Belardi Auto Racing's Scott Anderson.

The Shelby Can-Am is a sports car that had its own racing class in the United States between 1991 and 1996. Some of the models were shipped off to South Africa to race there, where they continued to be campaigned until about 2015.

August Uihlein Pabst Jr. is an American sports car driver from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In ten years of racing, he won two national championships — the 1959 USAC and 1960 SSCA road racing championships. Pabst made one NASCAR start at Riverside International Raceway. He is a former member of the board of directors for Road America.
