Two Medicine Lake

Two Medicine Lake is located in Glacier National Park, in the U. S. state of Montana. It is approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) long and .33 miles (0.53 km) wide. Sinopah Mountain dominates the western terminus of the lake, while immediately to the north, Rising Wolf Mountain rises over 4,450 feet (1,360 m) above the lake. Several hiking trails begin at the eastern end of the lake, which is accessible by vehicle. The National Historic Landmark Two Medicine Store and the National Register of Historic Places Swanson Boathouse structures are also near the eastern side of the lake. A short outlet stream connects Two Medicine Lake with Pray Lake to the northeast.

Young Man Lake

Young Man Lake is located in Glacier National Park, in the U. S. state of Montana. Young Man Lake is in a cirque immediately east of Flinsch Peak. A series of waterfalls carries waters from the lake to nearby Boy Lake.

Lake Nooney

The Herbst Glacier is located above the lake to the northwest. Rock flour (silt) from melting glaciers make the lake appear opaque turquoise in color.

Painted Tepee Peak

Painted Tepee Peak, or simply Painted Tepee is a mountain located in Glacier National Park in the U.S. state of Montana near the Two Medicine Pass. The altitude of the highest point is 7,650 feet (2,332 m). The summit lies to the south of Two Medicine Lake, and is within view of Grizzly Mountain, Chief Lodgepole Peak, and Mount Rockwell. The mountain lies along the Two Mountain Pass Trail.

Never Laughs Mountain

Never Laughs Mountain is located in the Lewis Range, Glacier National Park in the U.S. state of Montana. The mountain is likely named for the Blackfeet “Kat-aiyimi”, wording for never laughs, also the band of the Piegan Blackfeet. Never Laughs Mountain is easily seen to the south of Two Medicine Lake and is .59 mi (0.95 km) NW of Mount Ellsworth.
