The Austria Taekwondo Federation is the largest Taekwondo Association in Austria. It is a member of the Austrian Olympic Committee. [1]

International competition

Austria Taekwondo Federation is a member of the European umbrella organization European Taekwondo Union as well as the World Association for World Taekwondo (WT).

On the part of the Austria Olympic Committee, the Austria Taekwondo Federation is the only Taekwondo Association authorized to send athletes to the Olympic Games.

The Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) seeks to promote, advance and is the national governing body for taekwondo in the Philippines. The sports body is a member of the World Taekwondo Federation and Philippine Olympic Committee. The PTA was established in 1976. The PTA connects various taekwondo associations and acts as the governing body for representation to international taekwondo competition and conducts taekwondo belt promotion exams and instructor seminars.

Kosovo was a part of several international sports federations in the 1990s, and has applied to become a member of many more after its 2008 declaration of independence from Serbia.

The European Taekwondo Championships are the European senior championships in Taekwondo, first held in Barcelona in 1976. The event is held every two years and is organized by the European Taekwondo Union, the continental affiliate of World Taekwondo, which organises and controls Olympic style taekwondo. An additional event, the G4 Extra European Taekwondo Championships were exceptionally held in 2019.
