The Internet in South Africa, one of the most technologically resourced countries on the African continent, is expanding. The Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) .za is managed and regulated by the .za Domain Name Authority (.ZADNA) and was granted to South Africa by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) in 1990. Over 60% of Internet traffic generated on the African continent originates from South Africa. As of July 2016, 29.3 million people were Internet users.

Access to the Internet in Azerbaijan is growing, supported by a national strategy to develop the country into an information and communication technology (ICT) hub for the Caucasus region. While the government claims 85 percent of the population was online in 2013, service provider Baktelekom has provided free Wi-Fi zones in several points of Baku like the National Flag Square, the Boulevard, Old City, the park around the Heyder Aliyev Centre, parks of Sahil, Sabir, Samad Vurghun, Winter Park, as well as Port Baku Residence and Port Baku Mall.
The Internet in Pakistan has been available since the early 1990s. Pakistan has about 76.38 million internet users, making it the 10th-largest population of internet users in the world. Information and communications technology (ICT) is one of the fastest growing industries in the country. In 2001 just 1.3% of the population used the Internet. By 2006 this figure had grown to 6.5% and in 2012 to 10.0%. As of August 2020; the percentage of internet users in Pakistan is 40.95%, which translates into approximately 87 million citizens having access to internet.
Unifi Mobile is a Malaysian converged telecommunications, broadband and 4G service provider. Originally known as Packet One Networks (P1), the company was founded in 2002 and is a subsidiary of Green Packet Berhad.

Broadband is a term normally considered to be synonymous with a high-speed connection to the internet. Suitability for certain applications, or technically a certain quality of service, is often assumed. For instance, low round trip delay would normally be assumed to be well under 150ms and suitable for Voice over IP, online gaming, financial trading especially arbitrage, virtual private networks and other latency-sensitive applications. On the 12 November 2015, the head of the ministry, Ali Abbasov has been dismissed from his post.
Caspian Telecom LLC is an Azerbaijan-based telecommunications company founded in 1997. The company provides a wide range of telecommunication services using its fiber-optic infrastructure, as well as acting as a system integrator for a wide range of telecom routing. Caspian Telecom also offers cable television and internet provider services under brand names “Ailə TV” and “Ailə NET”.
Telrad Networks Ltd. is an Israeli company focused on 4G telecommunications.
Airtel India is the second largest provider of mobile telephony and second largest provider of fixed telephony in India, and is also a provider of broadband and subscription television services. The brand is operated by several subsidiaries of Bharti Airtel, with Bharti Hexacom and Bharti Telemedia providing broadband fixed line services and Bharti Infratel providing telecom passive infrastructure service such as telecom equipment and telecom towers. Bharti Airtel Limited is part of Bharti Enterprises and is headed by Sunil Bharti Mittal.
Ooredoo Oman is an Omani telecommunications company owned by Ooredoo. It is the Sultanate’s first privately owned telecommunications company, and serves two million customers as of August 2010. It sells voice and data services over, among others, 2.75G, 3G+, WiMAX and fibre. Since 2010, it has been listed at the Muscat Securities Market, and is the fourth largest telecom company by market capitalisation.
3 Hong Kong is a telecommunications and internet service provider operating in Hong Kong by Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings, a subsidiary of CK Hutchison, operating under the global Three brand. 3 Hong Kong is the first Three-branded company, leading to the development of other operations in different locations.
