B.D. College, Patna, also known as Bhuwaneshwari Dayal College, established in 1970, is a Professional degree college in Patna, Bihar. It is a constituent unit of Patliputra University. [1] College offers undergraduate courses in Science, Commerce and Arts. This institution had a modest start on 10 March 1970, and it remained under Magadh University, Bodh Gaya in (1970-2018) presently it is under Patliputra University, Patna since 18 March 2018. It is managed as per provisions of the University Acts and Statutes prescribed by the UGC and promulgated by the State Government of Bihar . The college receives grants from the state government as well as the University Grants Commission for the payment of salary and infrastructural development.

Contents

In 2018 the Magadh University in Bodhgaya warned the college that the university would disaffiliate the college if it failed to get a proper building of its own. In response, C.M Nitish Kumar donated a part of his property, which originally belonged to Patna
