B. Wellington was a Health Minister of Kerala State.
Wellington came to active politics through the Student movement. Later he became a follower of Fr. Joseph Vadakkan and became the President of Karshaka Thozhilali Party. He was Health Minister in the Government led by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) veteran E.M.S. Namboodiripad from 1967 to 1969. In 1965 and 1967 he was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly from Kalpetta Constituency and in 1970 he was elected from Palluruthy Constituency.
Padayatt Kesavapillai Vasudevan Nair, popularly known as PKV, was an Indian politician and lawyer who served as the 7th Chief Minister of Kerala from 1978 to 1979. He was a Member of the Lok Sabha from 1957 to 1971 and again from 2004 until his death in 2005. He became Chief Minister on 20 October 1978, following A. K. Antony's resignation as Chief Minister. However he resigned on 7 October 1979 owing to differences with other parties in the United Front. He served in the Kerala Legislative Assembly from 1977 to 1982. Karshaka Thozhilali Party (KTP) was a political party in Kerala formed by Fr. Joseph Vadakkan and B. Wellington. KTP was part of the government in Kerala from 1967 to 1969 in which E. M. S. Namboodiripad was the chief minister and B. Wellington was the health minister. When the state went to the polls at the time of general elections in March 1967, a new polarization of political forces had emerged in the meantime, leading to new electoral alliances. Politically the most potent combination was the new united front of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), the Communist Party of India, the Muslim League, the Revolutionary Socialist Party (India), the Karshaka Thozhilali Party and the Kerala Socialist Party. This seven-party combine was voted to power leading to the formation of a ministry headed by Shri.E. M. S. Namboodiripad.

Puthanpurayil Ramunni Kurup was an Indian socialist leader and former minister of Kerala state. Born as the son of Govindan Nambiar and Kunjunjamma at Puthur near Panoor in present-day Kerala state, he was initiated into politics through Indian National Congress in 1935. He got attracted to the ideals of the socialist faction later and worked closely with various socialist parties such as Praja Socialist Party, Samyukta Socialist Party, Janata Party and Janata Dal. In 1967, he became cooperative, irrigation, and Devaswam minister in the EMS ministry. In 1996, he became minister for forests and transport in the E. K. Nayanar ministry. He resigned on 11 January 1999 after age-related ailments. He died on 17 January 2001. He was married to (late) K. P. Leelavathi and had four sons and four daughters, including former Kerala state agricultural minister K. P. Mohanan.
