Babil Khan (born 15 May 1998) [1] is an Indian actor. The son of actor Irrfan Khan, he began his career as a camera assistant, before making his acting debut in Hindi cinema with Qala (2022). [2] He has since starred in the miniseries The Railway Men (2023).
Babil Khan was born on 15 May 1998, [3] in Mumbai to actor Irrfan Khan and writer Sutapa Sikdar. [4] [5] He has a younger brother, Ayaan Khan. [6]
Khan completed his schooling at Tridha School, Mumbai and studied further at the University of Westminster, London. [7]
After completing his studies, he started as a camera assistant in Bollywood film Qarib Qarib Single. [8]
In 2022, he made his acting debut with Anvita Dutt's psychological drama Qala alongside Tripti Dimri. [9] He was critically acclaimed for his performance. [10]
In 2023, he was seen playing Juhi Chawla's son Siddharth Menon in a Netflix original film Friday Night Plan . [11] He next starred in YRF's web series The Railway Men , a story on Bhopal Gas Tragedy, alongside Divyendu Sharma, Kay Kay Menon and R. Madhavan in pivotal roles. [12] [13]

Irrfan Khan was an Indian actor who worked in Indian cinema as well as British and American films. Widely regarded as one of the finest actors in world cinema, Khan's career spanned over 30 years and earned him numerous accolades, including a National Film Award, an Asian Film Award, and six Filmfare Awards. In 2011, he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian honour. In 2021, he was posthumously awarded the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award.
Tanuja Chandra is an Indian film director and writer. Chandra is the daughter of writer Kamna Chandra and sister of author Vikram Chandra and film critic Anupama Chopra. Feluda is an Indian-Bengali detective media franchise created by Indian-Bengali film director and writer Satyajit Ray, featuring the character, Feluda. Released in India on 8 May 2015, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan in titular roles, while Moushumi Chatterjee, Jisshu Sengupta and Raghubir Yadav appear in pivotal roles. The script was written by Juhi Chaturvedi while Anupam Roy composed the music and wrote the lyrics. Principal photography began in August 2014 and was wrapped up in December.

Irrfan Khan was an Indian actor who worked in Indian and British-American films. His on-screen debut was a minor role in Mira Nair's Salaam Bombay! in 1988. He followed this with appearances in a variety of television shows in the late 1980s to 1990s including playing ʽAbd al-Qadir Badayuni in Bharat Ek Khoj (1988), Makhdoom Mohiuddin in Kahkashan (1991), Vladimir Lenin in Lal Ghas Per Neele Ghodey (1992), a dual role in Chandrakanta (1994), and Valmiki in Jai Hanuman (1997). The album featured six tracks, five of them being composed by Amit Trivedi, and the sixth song guest composed by Sagar Desai, who also scored the film's background music.
