Kantri is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language action film written and directed by Meher Ramesh, a protégé of director Puri Jagannadh and who had earlier worked on Kannada films. Payanam (transl. Journey) is a 2011 Indian action thriller film that was written and directed by Radha Mohan. Sontineni Sivaji is an Indian actor, dubbing artist, and politician. He works in Telugu cinema and won the Nandi Award for Best Male Dubbing Artist for Dil. Bejawada or Bezawada is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language action crime film based on the Vijayawada Gang Warfare, directed by Vivek Krishna and produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Renny Johnson. The film stars Naga Chaitanya and Amala Paul. The movie was received negatively at the box office but positively at the television and OTT as it accurately depicted the historical gang war in Vijayawada. Later it was dubbed in Hindi as Hero: The Action Man (2013) and also in Tamil as Vikram Dhadha. It marked Amala’s Telugu debut.

Sri Sri is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language drama film written and directed by Muppalaneni Shiva. The film stars Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala, Angana Roy, Kunal Kaushik, Naresh, Murali Sharma and Sai Kumar. It was final films of Vijaya Nirmala and Krishna before their deaths in 2019 and 2022 respectively.
Kamina is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language crime thriller film directed by Lakshmikanth Chenna and featuring Sai Kumar, Subbaraju, Krishi Arimanda, Brahmaji, Ravi Babu, Ashish Vidyarthi, Roja and Lekha Washington in important roles. It is the Telugu remake of the 2007 Bollywood film Johnny Gaddar. The film was shot in Ghatkesar, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Ramachari – Eedo Pedda Goodachari is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language comedy film directed by Eshwar. A remake of C.I.D. Moosa, the film stars Venu Thottempudi and Kamalinee Mukherjee. The film was released on 17 May 2013. After the failure of this film, Venu Thottempudi took a break from acting.
Naa Girlfriend Baga Rich is a 2009 Indian Telugu-language romantic thriller film directed by M. Nagendra Kumar and starring Sivaji, Kaveri Jha and Brahmanandam. Although the film is inspired by the American film 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag (1997), it has a different storyline. The film is about the romance between a poor boy and a rich girl.
