Khan first played for local Afghan Club Kohat, He then joined Mohammedan SC in 1935. [3] Where he was a prominent role alongside teammate Jumma Khan in the team's backline throughout the 1930s and 1940s. Contributing to several assists during his tenure at the club, helping them win the Calcutta Football League on several occasions, alongside domestic competitions such as the Durand Cup in 1940. [4]
In 1937, Khan was selected to play for the N.W.I.F.A team to play against Islington Corinthians. [5] [6]
