<i>Agnee 2</i> 2015 film

Agnee 2 is a 2015 Bangladeshi-Indian action film directed by Iftakar Chowdhury. It is the second installment in the Agnee film franchise and serves as a sequel to Agnee (2014). The film stars Mahiya Mahi, Om Sahani, and Ashish Vidyarthi in lead roles. Om has played the lead role here in this movie in place of Arifin Shuvoo and opposite Mahiya Mahi. Mahi is the only actress from the previous film to appear in Agnee 2.

The 3rd Bangladesh National Film Awards were given by the Government of Bangladesh for releases in 1977. It was the third ceremony of National Film Awards. Every year, a national panel appointed by the government selects the winning entry. This year awards were given by Ziaur Rahman, the President of Bangladesh, at the Vice President's House in Dhaka on January 9, 1979.

The 35th National Film Awards, presented by Ministry of Information, Bangladesh to felicitate the best of Bangladeshi Cinema released in the year 2010. The government announced the names of 25 artistes and technicians for the National Film Award 2010 in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the country's film industry. Prime minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the 'National Film Awards – 2010' to the winners. The government has decided to observe 3 April as National Film Day from this year. The National Film Award 2010 was held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Dhaka.

The 34th National Film Awards, presented by Ministry of Information, Bangladesh to felicitate the best of Bangladeshi Cinema released in the year 2009. The government announced the names of 28 artistes in 26 categories for the National Film Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the country's film industry. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave away the awards to the artistes. From this year, Government decided to give lifetime achievement award and Sultana Zaman was the first recipient of the award.

Bachsas Awards was introduced in 1972 to encourage the fledgling film industry of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Cholochitra Sangbadik Samity gave out their most prestigious awards to outstanding performers in film, television, music, dance and theatre.

<i>Dhaka Attack</i> 2017 Bangladeshi film

Dhaka Attack is a Bangladeshi police action thriller film produced by Bangladesh Police Paribar Kallyan Samity Ltd., Three Wheelers Ltd. and Splash Multimedia. It features Arifin Shuvoo, Mahiya Mahi, ABM Sumon and Taskeen Rahman in lead roles. It was directed by Dipankar Dipon and written by Sunny Sanwar. The film was distributed by The Abhi Kathachitra and Swapna Scarecrow. The film won the "Best Film" award in 42nd Bangladesh National Film Awards.

The Bachsas Award for Best Female Playback Singer is awarded by the Bachsas Awards in Bangladesh. The following is a list of its winners:

Parineeta is a 1986 Bangladeshi film starring Ilias Kanchan and Anjana Sultana opposite him. Both the actor and the actress garnered Bangladesh National Film Awards. It won National Film Awards in three categories that year and Bachsas Awards in seven categories.

Ekjon Shonge Chilo is a 2007 Bangladeshi film starring Riaz, Moushumi and Kazi Hayat. It was produced under the banner of Impress Telefilms.

Koshto is a 2000 Bangladeshi film starring Manna, Moushumi and Dipjol. Moushumi garnered a Bachsas Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film.

<i>Jannat</i> (2018 film) 2018 Bangladeshi film

Jannat is a 2018 Bangladeshi crime and drama film. The film story by Sudipto Saeed Khan and directed by Mostafizur Rahman Manik. It features Symon Sadik, Mahiya Mahi, Ali Raj and Misha Sawdagor. The film was released worldwide on 22 August 2018. The film won five awards including Best Director and Best Actor at the 43rd Bangladesh National Film Awards.

Meril-Prothom Alo Award for Best Film Actress is given by Meril-Prothom Alo as part of its annual Meril-Prothom Alo Awards for Bengali films, to recognise the female actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a leading role. The award was first given in 1999.
