Fifth Harmony, often shortened to 5H, was an American girl group based in Miami, composed of Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and previously Camila Cabello until her departure from the group in December 2016. The group signed a joint record deal with Simon Cowell's label Syco Records and L.A. Reid's label Epic Records after forming and finishing third in the second season of the American singing competition series The X Factor in 2012. Rising to prominence by social media, the group's debut extended play and their three studio albums all charted within the top ten of the Billboard 200 in the United States.
Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado is an American singer and songwriter. A former member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, Jauregui began experimenting with different sounds and exploring solo songwriting, collaborating on songs with Marian Hill, Steve Aoki and Halsey. She began working on solo music in May 2018, and released her debut solo song "Expectations" in October 2018 under Columbia Records. In January 2019, she released the song "More Than That". Jauregui contributed to the soundtrack of the film Birds of Prey (2020), and released the Tainy-produced Latin urban song "Lento" in March 2020. In April 2020, she released the song "50ft". Jauregui's debut album is expected to be released in 2021.

"Por Favor" is a song by American singer and rapper Pitbull and American girl group Fifth Harmony for the group's self-titled third studio album, and was released as its third and final single. The song was written by Pitbull, Madison Love, Sermstyle and Philip Kembo, and produced by the latter two. Additional writing credits were also given to Usher, Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri, Adonis Shropshire and Manuel Seal, as it contains a sample from the 2004 single "My Boo" by Usher and Keys, as well as Barry White where the latter song incorporated a melody from the 1977 song "He's All I've Got" by American female vocal trio Love Unlimited. The song was released on October 27, 2017, in two versions; a Spanish version, in which Lauren Jauregui and Ally Brooke are the main two contributors from the group heard on the song, and a Spanglish version, where all four members can be heard. "All Night" is a song by American DJ Steve Aoki and American singer and songwriter Lauren Jauregui, released on November 17, 2017 through Ultra Records. It was written by Mike Gazzo, Michelle Buzz, Jauregui, Aoki, Justin Gammella, with the production handled by Gazzo and Aoki. It charted on Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs at number nine. The music video was released in January 2018. In March 2018, a three-remix package was released with remixes from Aoki, Alan Walker and Garmiani.
"Expectations" is the debut solo single by American singer and songwriter Lauren Jauregui, released on October 24, 2018. Jenna Lauren Antonia Elyse Hamilton-Andrews is a Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Andrews released her debut single "Tumblin' Down" in 2010, which was featured on the television show, Grey's Anatomy and charted on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart. She has collaborated with artists such as BTS, Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Jessie J, Tori Kelly, Lily Allen, Dua Lipa and Little Mix, while also being involved as an A&R consultant for Barry Weiss' label Records. Andrews has worked extensively with Lennon Stella, Noah Cyrus, Zhavia Ward, and Benee, as well as establishing TwentySeven Music Publishing with Weiss.
"More Than That" is a song by American singer and songwriter Lauren Jauregui, released on January 11, 2019. Written by Jauregui two to three years before its release, the song was inspired by Greek goddess Aphrodite and depicts a flirtation that is challenged. Creatively directed by Jauregui, the music video references Greek and Roman mythology, along with Sandro Botticelli's paintings Primavera and The Birth of Venus. "More Than That" was positively-received by music journalists, who called the song "darkly seductive", "hypnotic" and a "first-class banger".
