Badalkhol Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area and wildlife sanctuary located in Jashpur district of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. [1]
The sanctuary covers an area of 104.45 km2 (40.33 sq mi) and lies on the banks of the Eib and Dorki rivers. It was the erstwhile hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Jashpur and was declared as a protected area in 1976. [2] [3]
The protected area consists of a mixture of moist and dry tropical deciduous forests. Major fauna include Indian elephant, Bengal tiger, leopard, jungle cat, Indian wolf, Indian wild dog, wild boar, striped hyena, sloth bear, Indian fox, Asiatic jackal, spotted deer, barking deer, Indian gazelle, chausingha, nilgai, and sambar deer. Avifauna include barred owlet, brown fish owl, eurasian eagle owl, red jungle fowl, Indian peafowl, Indian pitta, paradise flycatcher, and chestnut-shouldered petronia. The park is also host to reptiles such as common krait, cat snake, rat snake, snake eyed lacerta, grass skink, fan throated lizard, and rock agama. [2]
Vansda National Park, also known as Bansda National Park, is a protected area which represents the thick woodlands of the Dangs and southern Gujarat, and is situated in the Vansda tehsil, Navsari District of Gujarat state, India. Riding on the banks of Ambika River and measuring roughly 24 km2 in area, the park lies about 65 km east of the town of Chikhali on the National Highway 48, and about 80 km northeast of the city of Valsad. Vansda, the town from which the name of the park is derived, is an important trading place for the surrounding area where the majority of the population is represented by adivasis. Vansda-Waghai state highway runs through the park, so does the narrow gauge rail link connecting Waghai to Billimora.

Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park is a 240 square kilometres (93 sq mi) protected area located in the Western Ghats of West India, in Dharbandora taluk, Goa State, along the eastern border with Karnataka. The area is situated near the town of Molem, 57 kilometres (35 mi) east of Panaji, the state capital of Goa. National Highway 4A divides it into two parts and the Mormugao - Londa railway line passes through the area. It is located between 15°15"30' to 15°29"30' N and 74°10"15' to 74°20"15' E. It contains several important temples dating to the Kadambas of Goa, and home to waterfalls, such as Dudhsagar Falls and Tambdi Falls. The parkland is also home to a community of nomadic buffalo herders known as the Dhangar.
