Bailey Antrobus (born 18 February 2000) is a Wales international rugby league footballer who plays as a second-row and centre for the York Knights in the Championship.
Antrobus was born in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. [3] He is of Welsh descent. [4]
Antrobus played for the St George Illawarra Dragons in trial games in 2021. On 13 May 2022, Antrobus signed a contract to join RFL Championship side York Knights. [5] In August 2023, Antrobus suffered an ACL injury and missed the rest of the season. In October 2023, he signed a two-year deal to remain at York until 2025. [3]
He made his debut in June 2022 against France at the Stadium Municipal d'Albi in Albi. [6] In 2022 Antrobus was named in the Wales squad for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. [7] Antrobus played in all three group stage games as Wales were eliminated after losing all their matches. [8] [9]

In the 2022 rugby league season York City Knights competed in the 2022 RFL Championship and the 2022 Challenge Cup. At the start of the season the club was taken over by Clint Goodchild who became the new chairman. York had a strong first half of the season which included a run of seven wins in the league that helped them finish in sixth place to qualify for the play-offs despite winning only five of their final 11 games. They lost in the semi-finals to Leigh Centurions who earlier in the season inflicted a club record 100–4 defeat on York. In the Challenge Cup York reached the fifth round. It was the final season that the team played as York City Knights after which the club was renamed York RLFC and the team became the Knights.
