The 2021 St. George Illawarra Dragons season was the 23rd in the joint venture club's history. The Dragons' men's team competed in the NRL's 2021 Telstra Premiership season. The women's team, was scheduled to play their fourth season in the NRLW's 2021 Telstra Women's Premiership season, however that has since been postponed to 2022. [1]

Michael Gordon is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s, he played in the National Rugby League (NRL). Gordon was a New South Wales, Origin and Country representative. He played at wing and fullback and was a noted goal-kicker.
Joel Thompson is a retired Australian professional rugby league footballer who played as a second-row forward for St Helens in the Super League, and for the Canberra Raiders, St George Illawarra Dragons and the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League (NRL). Thompson has played for the Indigenous All stars and NSW Country Origin side at representative level, and played as a centre in the NRL earlier in his career.
