Bala James Ngilari (born 4 December 1972) is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who served as governor of Adamawa State from October 2014 to May 2015 following the impeachment of Murtala Nyako. He previously served as deputy governor from 2007 to 2008, and from 2008 to 2014 under Nyako. He was succeeded as governor by Bindo Jibrilla, the winner of the 2015 Adamawa State gubernatorial election.
In March 2017, Ngilari was sentenced to five years in jail without option of fine by a Yola High court for corruption, but was soon afterward acquitted and freed by the Court of Appeal in July. [1] [2] [3]
James Onanefe Ibori is a Nigerian politician who was Governor of Delta State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007. He previously served as military governor of Niger State from its creation in 1976 to 1977, and as Nigeria's Chief of the Naval Staff from 1990 to 1992.
The Ibrahim Babangida College of Agriculture is a tertiary educational institution in Obubra, Cross River State, Nigeria. 20 million naira was allocated for infrastructure development in 2001, but only 3.9 million was reported as spent. No further allocations were provided in 2002–2005. In 2002, the college infrastructure was in decay, and it was described as "more or less a glorified secondary school." The National Youth Service Corps included the college in its list of institutions from which graduates in 2008 had to go on to undertake NYSC service. The election — which was postponed from its original 11 March date — was held three weeks after the presidential election and National Assembly elections. Incumbent Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (PDP) was re-elected by a 3.75% margin over first runner-up and APC nominee — Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed.

The 2023 Nigerian Senate elections in Adamawa State will be held on 25 February 2023, to elect the 3 federal Senators from Adamawa State, one from each of the state's three senatorial districts. The elections will coincide with the 2023 presidential election, as well as other elections to the Senate and elections to the House of Representatives; with state elections being held two weeks later. Primaries were held between 4 April and 9 June 2022.
