Kana Kaanum Kaalangal is a Tamil drama soap opera that aired in Star Vijay, Monday to Thursday, from 30 October 2006 to 28 April 2009. It was the first soap in Tamil television that focused on school life. Due to the success of the show, a sequel called Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kallooriyin Kadhai was made. Later another sequel to the serial called Kana Kaanum Kalangal Kalloori Saalai was also made. Both the sequels focused on college life. It was re-aired on Star Vijay Super from 16 January 2017, Monday through Friday at 8:00PM.

Raju made his debut in the movie Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma in the year 2019. He has also acted in various serials including Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, Kana Kaanum Kalangal Kalloori Salai, Andal Azhagar, and Saravanan Meenatchi on Vijay Television. In 2022, he emerged as the winner of the reality television show Bigg Boss 5.
Vilangu (transl. Handcuff) is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller streaming television series produced as an Original for Zee5, directed by Prasanth Pandiyaraj of Bruce Lee fame. Produced by Escape Artists the series stars Vemal in the lead role along with Ineya, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth and R. N. R. Manohar. The series comprised seven episodes and was released on Zee5 on 18 February 2022.
Kana Kaanum Kaalangal also known by the initialism KKK, is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language television series that airs on Disney+ Hotstar. It is a reboot of the 2006 television series of the same name, which aired on Star Vijay. The story revolves around the struggles of a group of high school students and what they face during their secondary school life such as jealousy, rivalry, misunderstandings, arguments and personal grudges.
Pechi is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language horror film written and directed by Ramachandran B. The film stars Gayathrie, Bala Saravanan, with Preethi Nedumaran and Dev Ramnath in supporting roles.
