Balikoowa (officially known as Balikoowa in the City) is a Ugandan drama-comedy series that airs on Spark TV - Uganda. The series is directed by Kennedy Kihire, [2] produced at Fast Track Productions and stars Marion Asiro, Housen Mushema, Monica Birwinyo and Undercover Brothers Ug's Jay K. Mulungi.
Balikoowa in the City follows the story of "Balikoowa" (Housen Mushema), a villager who heads to the city (Kampala) on an errand to his aunt's daughter "Sophia" (Marion Asiro). He has to deal with the city life for so long as his errand lasts. [3] [4] [5]
The title theme for the series is called Balikoowa and was composed and written by Undercover Brothers Ug's Jay K. Mulungi and Timothy Kirya.

Alex Julius Kwesigabo, better known by his stage name Flex D'Paper, is a Ugandan rapper and songwriter born and raised in Kampala. Starting off his music career, Flex D'Paper was part of the high school rap group, The Rapaholix, which he started with friends, Dasper Cosine and later joined by Apass as an affiliate with whom the trio put out a mix tape, The Eviction Notice that included chart topping singles like "Burning", "Party Life" and "Follow Me" which topped countdowns in Uganda such as NTV and Sanyu FM. Undercover Brothers Ug also simply known as Undercover Brothers are a Ugandan music duo composed of guitarist and vocalist Jay K Mulungi and vocalist Timothy Kirya, whose music career sparked off when they won the auditions and represented Uganda in the sixth season of East Africa's biggest singing competition Tusker Project Fame. The duo released their first album titled At Dawn in December 2014. In December 2016, their song Nsikatila was nominated in the Best R&B Song category at HiPipo Music Awards (#HMA) 2017.
Beneath The Lies is a Ugandan television drama-mystery series created by Nana Kagga Macpherson and starring Flavia Tumusiime, Natasha Sinayobye, Gaetano Kagwa, Hellen Lukoma, Rabadaba, Deedan Muyira, Cedric Babu Ndilima, Patrick Salvado Idringi and Susan Naava as regular cast members. Giovanni Kiyingi, is a Ugandan folk singer-songwriter and world music artist. He is known for his skills as a multi-instrumentalist who plays the local Ugandan fiddle (endingidi), akogo, adungu, guitar, harmonica, flute, djembe, calabash, congas, drums, and maracas, among others. He was one of the Ugandan artists chosen to welcome Pope Francis to Uganda at Kololo on 27 November 2015.
At Dawn is the debut EP released in 2014 by the Ugandan music duo Undercover Brothers Ug. It was co-written by the duo and released at their first ever concert dubbed 'Unveiling Undercover Brothers Ug' at Alliance Francaise, Kampala on December 13 and at the Uganda Museum on December 20, 2014. The concerts acted as their official release dates for their first album, At Dawn which sold physical copies at the concerts. The first concert was blessed by a performance by Uganda's king of Mwooyo Maurice Kirya. The third single "Nsikatila" marketed the album which increased album sales in December 2014. The duo released their first music video for the song "Diamond", a collaboration with Ugandan rapper Young Zee in May 2014.
Nsikatila, sometimes spelt Nsikatira, is a world-pop love song by Ugandan music duo Undercover Brothers Ug. It was released as the second single from their first EP album and first major release, At Dawn in December (2014) and re-released in January as the first single from their 2016 album, Hitlist. Co-written by the duo's Timothy Kirya and Jay K Mulungi and produced by Jude Mugerwa, the lyrics portray a lover who stammers whenever he talks to his lover.

New Intentions is Ugandan film written and directed by Kennedy Kihire starring Ife Piankhi, Sinovella Night, Kawooya Malcolm, and Joel Okuyo Atiku. The film was released on 3 May 2016 at Uganda National Cultural Centre (UNCC). The film is nominated in six categories at the 2016 Uganda Film Festival including Best Screenplay, Best Sound, Best cinematography, Film of the Year, Best lead Actress and Best Feature Film, Best film director/Film of year.

The Hostel is a Ugandan drama series created by Sabiiti "MMC" Moses and Emanuel "BUUBA" Egwel about the lives of university students in their hostels. The show premiered on NTV Uganda in 2011 and ran for four seasons. The fourth season, which was titled Serenity, saw a fresh new cast in a new hostel. The season premiered on 23 February 2015.

The series stars Stellah Nantumbwe, Housen Mushema, Elizabeth Bwamimpeke and follows a group of friends from university who are struggling to navigate through the challenges in their lives. The series was produced by Phad Mutumba under the banner of his Phaz Motion Pictures in Kampala.
Sanyu is a Ugandan drama television series that premiered on DStv Uganda's Pearl Magic Prime TV on 2 January 2020, at the premiere of MultiChoice Uganda's premium network, Pearl Magic Prime. The series stars Catherine Namugenyi in the lead role as Sanyu, along with Eleanor Nabwiso and Housen Mushema. Sanyu was nominated for Best Television Drama, and Tracy Kababiito was nominated for Best Actress in a Television Drama at the 8th Uganda Film Festival Awards.
