Ballad 21 F/W is the fourth extended play (EP) by South Korean boy group, 2AM, released on November 1, 2021. It was the first release by 2AM since their album, Let's Talk , in 2014. [1]

Background

On October 7, 2021, member Lee Chang-min announced that 2AM was preparing to make a comeback. [2] Shortly after, it was reported the group had already recorded two title tracks, one written by Bang Si-hyuk and one by Park Jin-young. [3]

On October 12, 2AM released a time table to social media, confirming that they would be releasing a new EP on November 1, 2021, with both music videos which would star 2PM member Junho and actor Kim So-hyun. [4]

Release and promotion

2AM began music show promotions at M Countdown, where they performed the two title tracks "Should've Known" and "No Good In Good-bye". The group performed the two songs in succeeding music shows Music Bank, Show! Music Core. [5]

On November 4, 2021, the group appeared in web show IU's Palette where host IU covered the group's 2008 b-side "What Should I Do" from the repackage album I Was Wrong , while they covered IU's 2011 hit single "Hold My Hand". [6] On the same day, the group guested on the 74th episode of Jessi's Showterview where they simultaneously promoted Ballad 21 F/W. [7]

2AM is a South Korean boy band, that consists of Jo Kwon, Lee Chang-min, Lim Seul-ong, and Jeong Jin-woon. The band was formed by JYP Entertainment through the Mnet documentary Hot Blood, which spawned the eleven-member boy band One Day; 2AM primarily perform ballad songs while their brother group 2PM performed more dance-focused music. With the addition of Changmin from Big Hit Entertainment, now known as Big Hit Music, the group was co-managed by JYP and Big Hit from 2008 to 2014. She released her first solo EP, Minzy Work 01: "Uno", in April 2017. On November 20, 2020, Minzy made her debut in the Philippines with the Tagalog version of her single "Lovely".

She was formerly a co-host of the variety show After School Club from 2014 to 2022.

"Everybody" is a K-pop song of the complextro music genre performed by the South Korean boy group Shinee. Written by Cho Yoon-kyung, two versions of "Everybody" exist: the original Korean-language version, which served as the lead single for the group's fifth Korean EP Everybody (2013), and a Japanese-language version, which was one of the three tracks featured on their ninth Japanese single "3 2 1" (2013). The Korean version of "Everybody" was made available for download on October 14, 2013, under the record label of SM Entertainment.

Red Velvet is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by SM Entertainment. They originally debuted on August 1, 2014, with the single "Happiness" with the four-member line-up of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy. A fifth member, Yeri, joined in March 2015, following the release of their first extended play, the chart-topping Ice Cream Cake. Sonically, the music of Red Velvet reflects their group name: their predominantly-pop "red" side experiments occasionally with electronic and funk, while their "velvet" side focuses on '90s-influenced R&B with elements of ballad and hip hop.

KNK is a South Korean boy band formed in 2016. KNK is an initialism which stands for K-pop knock, meaning "to knock on the door of K-pop with their music." "Automatic" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Red Velvet for their debut extended play (EP), Ice Cream Cake (2015). Composed and produced by Daniel "Obi" Klein and Charlotte Taft with Korean lyrics adapted by Choi So-young, the R&B and urban song was released as the group's first single from the EP on March 14, 2015, by SM Entertainment. It marked their first release as a quintet since the addition of member Yeri. The song's lyrics tells about unraveling the feeling of attraction to the other person.

<i>What Is Love?</i> (EP) Extended play by Twice

What Is Love? is the fifth extended play by South Korean girl group Twice. It was released on April 9, 2018, by JYP Entertainment and is distributed by Iriver. It includes the title track of the same name produced by Park Jin-young. Twice members Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung, and Jihyo also took part in writing lyrics for two songs on the EP.

"Blueming" is a song by South Korean singer-songwriter IU, serving as the second single from her seventh Korean-language extended play (EP) Love Poem. It was released on November 18, 2019, through Kakao M, and was co-written by IU, Lee Jong-hoon and Lee Chae-kyu, with production handled by the latter two. Lyrically, the song expresses the sentiments of what it means to live and love in modern-day society.

<i>My Little Society</i> 2020 EP by fromis_9

My Little Society is the third EP of South Korean girl group Fromis 9. The mini-album was released on September 16, 2020. The physical version of the EP is available in two versions: "My Account" and "My Society". Both consists of the same five tracks, including the lead single "Feel Good ". Off The Record Entertainment announced that Lee Seoyeon would not be able to participate in the promotions for My Little Society due to a leg injury on September 10, 2020.

<i>Dont Call Me</i> (album) 2021 studio album by Shinee

Don't Call Me is the seventh Korean studio album by South Korean boy group Shinee. The album was released on February 22, 2021, through SM Entertainment. It is the group's first release since three of the members completed their military service with the exception of member Taemin and also the group's first album not to feature late member Jonghyun in any capacity. Working with producers such as Dem Jointz, Yoo Young-jin, Kenzie, and Ryan S. Jhun, the album spans several genres such as pop, hip hop, EDM, R&B, and reggae. Shinee forwent an overarching theme for the album, instead opting for songs that marked the group's return after almost three years and presenting the record as a gift to fans. A repackage of the album, Atlantis, was released on April 12, 2021.

Hot Sauce is the first studio album by South Korean boy band NCT Dream, the third sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT. It was released on May 10, 2021, through SM Entertainment. Following their previous EP, Reload, this album marks NCT Dream's first release to feature back as a seven-member unit following the return of Mark from the termination of the age-based graduation system that was operated in the group. Hot Sauce is one of the best-selling albums in South Korea.

Dimension: Dilemma is the debut studio album by South Korean boy band Enhypen. It was released on October 12, 2021, through Belift Lab. The album consists of eight tracks, including the lead single "Tamed-Dashed". The repackaged version of the album, Dimension: Answer, was later released on January 10, 2022, including the single "Blessed-Cursed".

The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm is the fifth special extended play and thirteenth overall by South Korean girl group Red Velvet, released by SM Entertainment on March 21, 2022, to commemorate the birthday of German Baroque music composer J.S. Bach. It consists of six tracks, including the lead single "Feel My Rhythm", in three physical versions, two "ReVe" versions with different covers and the "Orgel" version.
