At that time, Persib lost to Persikab with a narrow score of 0–1. [1] [2]
The last season that featured the Bandung derby had to end in 2002 Liga Indonesia Premier Division season, at that time Persikab Bandung had to be relegated with the status of last place. In that season they also had to lose 0–5 to Persib Bandung in their rivalry at Siliwangi Stadium, Persib Bandung's home ground. [3]
