Pournami is a 2006 Telugu language action musical dance film directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by M. S. Raju. The film stars Prabhas, Trisha, Charmy, Sindhu Tolani, and Rahul Dev. The film stars Pawan Kalyan, Sarah-Jane Dias, Anjali Lavania, Jackie Shroff, Adivi Sesh, Atul Kulkarni, Sampath Raj, Subbaraju and Tanikella Bharani. The plot centers around Jai, a loyal henchman for a gangster, who is forced to go on the run after a botched mission leads him to kill his boss's son in response to a violent atrocity.
Velaiilla Pattadhari, popularly referred to as VIP, is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language action comedy drama film written and directed by Velraj, in his directorial debut, and produced by Dhanush, who also enacts in the lead role alongside Amala Paul, Vivek, Saranya Ponvannan, Samuthirakani and Surbhi. It is the predecessor to Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 (2017), which was directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth; replacing Velraj. The film follows Raghuvaran "Raghu," an unemployed graduate, who tries to overcome various obstacles before and after finding employment.
Astram (transl. Weapon) is a 2006 Indian Telugu-language action crime film, directed by Suresh Krishna. The film stars Vishnu Manchu, Anushka Shetty, Jackie Shroff and Rahul Dev. It is a remake of the Hindi film Sarfarosh. The film was dubbed into Hindi as Astra - The Weapon.
Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 is a 2017 Indian Tamil action comedy film directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth. It is a sequel to the 2014 film Velaiilla Pattadhari and has Dhanush, Amala Paul, Vivek, Hrishikesh, Saranya Ponvannan, and Samuthirakani reprising their roles, while Kajol plays an antagonistic role, marking her return to Tamil cinema after 20 years, with her last film being Minsara Kanavu (1997). Ritu Varma was recast as Anita, earlier played by Surbhi, which marks her debut in Tamil cinema. Some of Dhanush's scenes were partially reshot in Telugu. Its music was composed by Sean Roldan.

Saaho is a 2019 Indian action thriller film directed by Sujeeth and produced by UV Creations and T-Series. It was filmed simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, stars Prabhas in the title role, alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff, Arun Vijay and Neil Nitin Mukesh. The film marks Prabhas's Hindi cinema debut and Shraddha Kapoor's Telugu cinema debut. The film revolves around two undercover officers, searching for a mastermind responsible for stealing ₹2,000 crore. They soon realise that the case is linked to the death of a prominent business tycoon and an emerging gang war for the control of a megalopolis.
