She has received numerous awards for her rowing success and in 2012, she and fellow double sculler Brenda Lawson were inducted into the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame. A trained radiographer, she manages her husband's medical practice. She has been a Whanganui District Health Board and Whanganui District Council member since 2004 and 2006, respectively, and was a mayoral candidate in 2010. She is a member of the New Zealand Labour Party.
Louise Elisabeth Pascal-de Graaff is a retired Dutch rower. In the coxed four, she won the European title in 1973 and finished fifth at the 1975 World Rowing Championships. She competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in the women's eight, together with Karin Abma, Joke Dierdorp, Barbara de Jong, Annette Schortinghuis-Poelenije, Marleen van Rij, Maria Kusters-ten Beitel, Loes Schutte and Evelien Koogje, and finished in eighth place.

It was held from 31 July to 5 August and the outcome was wide open due to the Eastern Bloc boycott and thus the absence of the dominating team from the Soviet Union, and previously East Germany. The event was won by the team from New Zealand.
The men's eight (M8+) competition at the 1984 Summer Olympics took place at Lake Casitas in Ventura County, California, United States. It was held from 31 July to 5 August. There were 7 boats from 7 nations, with each nation limited to a single boat in the event. New Zealand had won the last two world championships, and the other strong team, East Germany, was absent from the event due to the Eastern Bloc boycott. This made New Zealand the strong favourite. But the final was won by Canada, with the United States and Australia the other medallists, and New Zealand coming a disappointing fourth.
Barbara Kirch an American Olympic rower who competed in both the 1984 and 1988 Olympic coxless pair contests. In the 1988 Olympics, she competed with Mara Keggi. Kirch graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984 with a B.A. Degree. After the Olympics, she eventually became the head rowing coach for the Penn Women's Rowing Team. Later, she joined the Peddie Crew team as the Head Woman's Coach.
An Jong-deuk is a South Korean rower. He competed in the men's eight event at the 1964 Summer Olympics.
