The 2012 edition of Barbarella included a bigger proposal. It was held on June 30, 2012 at San Souci Convention Center. [2]

The 2013 edition of Barbarella was held on June 28, 2013 at Estadio Quisqueya, Santo Domingo. [3] The lineup included artists that had never been in the country before. This is the full lineup:

2014

The 2014 Barbarella was held on June 18, 2014 at Estadio Quisqueya, Santo Domingo. [4] This show had a duration of 12 hours (from 6PM to 6AM). Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, one of the most expected performers, canceled their presentation several weeks before the show. As of today, the reason of this unexpected cancellation is still unknown.

The stadium has a sporting events' capacity of 27,000 people, though it has seen crowds of 35,000. For concerts, its stated capacity is 50,000 people.

Nervo are an Australian DJ duo comprising twin sisters Olivia and Miriam Nervo. After signing with Sony/ATV Music Publishing at 18 years of age, the sisters pursued careers as songwriting partners. The WDM Radio Awards is an award ceremony created in 2017 by Los 40 under their World Dance Music brand, billed as "the first radio awards to electronic music". It is meant to be a global event, promoted by the twelve Los 40 stations in Spain and Latin America.

It is the home ground of Tercera División RFEF side CD Marino. It has a capacity of 7,500 for sporting events, whilst being able to accommodate a capacity of 27,000 for concerts.
