Barber Farm, also known as Luckland, is a historic farm complex and national historic district located near Cleveland, Rowan County, North Carolina. The Jacob Barber House was built about 1855, and is a two-story, single-pile, three-bay vernacular Greek Revival style frame dwelling. It has a one-story rear ell and a one-story shed roofed rear porch. Its builder James Graham also built the Robert Knox House and the Hall Family House. Other contributing resources are the cow barn (c. 1947), smokehouse (c. 1880 / 1940s), granary (c. 1855), double crib log barn (c. 1855), well house (c. 1940), log corn crib / barn (c. 1855 / 1940), carriage house (c. 1890), school (c. 1910), Edward W. Barber House (1870s), Edward W. Barber Well House (1870s), North Carolina Midland Railroad Right-of-Way (c. 1899), and the agricultural landscape. [2]

It was built about 1860, and is a two-story, center-passage-plan frame dwelling with Greek Revival and Greek Revival style influences. Also on the property are a variety of contributing buildings and outbuildings including a kitchen, smokehouse, cook's house, log dwelling, and office / caretaker's house dated to the 19th century; and a garage, playhouse, poultry house, two barns, greenhouse, Mack Watkin's House, granary and corn crib, and Spencer Store and Post Office dated to the 1940s-1950s. Grassdale Farm was once owned by Thomas Jefferson Penn, who built Chinqua-Penn Plantation outside Reidsville, North Carolina, where the Penn tobacco-manufacturing interests were located.

Kerr Scott Farm, also known as Melville, is a historic home and farm located near Haw River, Alamance County, North Carolina. The vernacular farmhouse was built in 1919, and consists of a 1 1/2-story, frame, center hall plan, hip-roofed main block, with a one-story frame gable-roofed ell built about 1860. The property includes a variety of contributing outbuildings including a farm office, milk house, woodshed, dairy barns, equipment building / machine shop (1941), cow shed, gas / oil house, corn crib (1910), silos, and cow sheds. It was the home of North Carolina governor and United States Senator, W. Kerr Scott (1896-1958) and the birthplace of W. Kerr Scott's son, also a former North Carolina governor, Robert W. Scott.

It has 4 contributing buildings, 2 contributing site and 2 contributing structures. The house was built about 1870, and is a two-story, vernacular Greek Revival style frame farmhouse. Also on the property are the contributing remnant of Island Ford Road, corn crib, car shed, granary, two story bank barn known as the "Rock Barn", foundation wall, and the farm acreage.

Dr. E. H. Ward Farm is a historic home and farm located near Bynum, Chatham County, North Carolina. The main house was built in sections during the mid-19th through early-20th century beginning about 1840. The earliest section is a 1+12-story, gable-roofed, two room log structure, that forms the rear of the main section. The main section was built about 1870, and is a one-story, gable-roofed frame structure with a simple gable-front porch. A one-story board-and-batten rear ell was added about 1900. Riley Everhart Farm and General Store is a historic farm and general store located near Welcome, Davidson County, North Carolina. The main house was built in 1885, and is an I-house that consists of a two-story, three bay by two-bay, brick main block with a two-story rear ell with Italianate style design elements. It has a one-story front porch and one-story porches on the ell. The Arnold General Store and Post Office is a tall, narrow two-story, three bay, frame building with a gable roof. John Phifer Farm is a historic farm complex and national historic district located near Cleveland, Rowan County, North Carolina, United States. The Jacob Phifer House was built in the 1850s, and is a two-story, rectangular, weatherboarded log dwelling. The oldest building is the John Phifer House, built about 1819, and is a small two-story log dwelling. Other contributing resources are the double-pen log barn, tool shed (1930s), garage, granary and corn crib, spring house, blacksmith shop, two chicken houses, log chicken coop (1930s), wood shed, smokehouse, privy, scalding vat, log tobacco barn, and the farm landscape.

The farmstead was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 for having local significance in the themes of agriculture and exploration/settlement. It was nominated for being "an excellent example of an early Wright County farmstead developed by a pioneer family from New England."
