Barrel of Batteries is the first EP released by American indie rock band The War on Drugs, released on March 4, 2008 on Secretly Canadian. The release featured five demos that the band was particularly drawn to. [1] Upon its release, the band gave downloads of the EP away for free for a limited time.

The EP was recorded on lead singer Adam Granduciel's digital 8-track. His vocals have been described as "a modern Bruce Springsteen that had inherited Bob Dylan's vocal cadences as guitarist Kurt Vile sprinkled twinkling guitar around the edge." [2]

AC4 is a Swedish hardcore punk band from Umeå, Sweden. Refused members Dennis Lyxzén and David Sandström had been talking about starting a new band for a long time. In the spring of 2008 Karl Backman had written songs for the new band and they started to rehearse. Jens Nordén had played with Lyxzén in pre-Refused straight edge hardcore band Step Forward (1987-1991) and since 1990 with Backman in punk band The Vectors. The "AC" in the name is the regional code for the Västerbotten province where Umeå is located.

Leave This Town: The B-Sides is an EP by American rock band Daughtry. It was released on March 15, 2010, to iTunes. The album features six tracks that were not included on Leave This Town. On April 11, 2011, the band announced that a physical copy of the EP was available for pre-order on the band's official website. It was officially released on May 10, 2011, and included the previously unreleased track "Back Again".

Mare were a Canadian band from Toronto, who fused sludge metal with more experimental traits such as jazz, unusual time signatures and Gregorian Chant. Mare consisted of Tyler Semrick-Palmateer on vocals and guitar, Rob Shortil on bass, and Caleb Collins on drums.
