Battler is a 2009 album from indie-rock artist Gregory Douglass. The first video from the record will be "Cathedrals," as stated on www.gregorydouglass.com

Contents

On the record, Gregory experiments with cabaret themes and heavy, striking instrumentation, which is a departure from the piano and guitar work on this previous records. The record features fellow Vermont artists Grace Potter of the Nocturnals, as well as Anaïs Mitchell.

The Battler Tour

To promote the record, Gregory went on The Battler Tour in the Winter of 2009. The show opened in Cambridge, MA and traveled all throughout the United States. Opening acts varied and included Chad Perrone. [2] The setlist contained many tracks from the new album as well as material from his previous albums Teeter, Pseudo-Rotary and Up & Away. Many of the tracks were reinvented to suit a full-band including guitar, drums, keyboards, backing vocals, and a cello.

The Jam were an English mod revival/punk rock band during the 1970s and early 1980s, which formed in 1972 at Sheerwater Secondary School in Woking, in the county of Surrey. He has also contributed to albums and hit singles as a songwriter, arranger and producer. "The Trooper" is a song by the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. It was released as the second single on 20 June 1983 from the band's fourth studio album, Piece of Mind (1983). It was one of only a few songs to get much radio airplay in the United States, thus peaking at No. 28 on the US Mainstream Rock charts. It also achieved success in the United Kingdom, peaking at No. 12 in the UK Singles Charts as well as gaining a much better reception than the band's previous single, "Flight of Icarus".

Chad VanGaalen is a Canadian musician and artist from Calgary, Alberta.

Industry was an American new wave band formed in 1978 in New York City as Industrial Complex, their name later changing to Industry. In 1981, the band became commercial but disbanded three years later. Their only well known album was Stranger to Stranger, released in 1984 which included the hit single, "State of the Nation". Due to some pop ballads on their 1984 album, the band has been dubbed as "The American Spandau Ballet".

Averi was a rock band that formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1998 when the members were students at local colleges and universities. The band grew in local popularity rather quickly, and eventually developed a strong national following. It was no mystery that from 2001 through 2005, the band was one of only a handful in Boston which was garnering considerable label attention. <i>Beauty Killer</i> 2009 studio album by Jeffree Star

Beauty Killer is the debut and only studio album by American singer Jeffree Star, released on September 21, 2009 under Popsicle Records through Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group. The album was mostly produced by God's Paparazzi, but also features work from other producers and artists, including producer Lester Mendez and Young Money singer and rapper Nicki Minaj. Beauty Killer features rock, electronic, dance, and pop elements in its music and lyrics, similar to previous works from Star. The album debut at number 122 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album spawned two official singles, "Prisoner" and "Lollipop Luxury", and several promotional singles, including "Love Rhymes with Fuck You", "Blush", and "Beauty Killer". Criminal Intents/Morning Star is the third EP album by Italian industrial rock band Dope Stars Inc.. It was released on April 21, 2009 as an immediate precursor to their third album, 21st Century Slave, which was released exactly three months later on July 21, 2009. Lyrically it focuses on traditional cyberpunk beliefs and themes. Like their previous album and EPs, Criminal Intents/Morning Star was recorded on the Trisol record label, being distributed by them in most of Europe and by Metropolis Records in the United States, Canada and much of the rest of the world. Various other companies have handled distribution in other counties.
