In traditional Sámi music songs and joiks are important musical expressions of the Sámi people and Sámi languages. The Sámi also use a variety of musical instruments, some unique to the Sámi, some traditional Scandinavian, and some modern introductions.

"Proud Mary" is a rock ’n’ roll song written by John Fogerty and first recorded by his band Creedence Clearwater Revival. It was released by Fantasy Records as a single from the band's second studio album, Bayou Country, which was issued by the same record company and is generally considered to have been released in early January 1969, although one source states that it came out just before Christmas 1968. The song became a major hit in the United States, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March 1969, the first of five singles to peak at No. 2 for the group.
"GoldenEye" is a song written by Bono and the Edge and performed by Tina Turner that served as the theme song for the 1995 James Bond film GoldenEye. Released as a single in November 1995, the song was a chart hit in Europe, topping the Hungarian Singles Chart and reaching the top five in Austria, Finland, France, Italy, and Switzerland, and the top ten in Belgium, Germany, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. It was less successful outside the continent, reaching number 43 in Canada, number 63 in Australia, and number two on the US Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100.
Foreign Affair is the seventh solo studio album by Tina Turner. It was released on September 13, 1989 through Capitol Records. It was Turner's third album release after her massively successful global comeback five years earlier, and although the album was not a major success in Turner's native United States, it was a huge international success in Europe. The album reached number one on the UK Albums Chart, her first number one album there. The album includes the single "The Best" which has gone on to become one of Turner's best-known songs.
"The Best" is a song recorded by Bonnie Tyler for her seventh studio album, Hide Your Heart (1988). In the following year, the song was covered by Tina Turner for her seventh studio album, Foreign Affair. The song was written by Holly Knight and Mike Chapman. Tina Turner's version has become an icon of rugby league.
"Milas Poli" was the Cypriot entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1990, performed in Greek by Haris Anastasiou.
"La dolce vita" was the Finnish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1989, performed in Finnish by Anneli Saaristo. The song was conducted by Ossi Runne, who retired after this Contest.

The song was a moderate hit in late 1999 and early 2000, reaching number ten in the United Kingdom and the top 20 in several other European countries. "It's Gonna Work Out Fine" is a song written by Rose Marie McCoy and Joe Seneca. It was originally released by R&B duo Ike & Tina Turner in 1961 as a single from their album Dynamite! (1962). Finland participated at the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 held in Zagreb, Yugoslavia.

Levy's participation in the writing has been called into question; the Flashback release of the single lists only Dorsey and Blast as writers, as do the liner notes to the American Graffiti soundtrack.
Finland was represented by Kaija Kärkinen, with the song '"Hullu yö", at the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 4 May in Rome. "Hullu yö" was chosen as the Finnish entry at the national final organised by broadcaster Yle and held on 2 March.
"När jag blundar" is a song by Pernilla Karlsson. It represented Finland in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 where it finished in 12th place and failed to reach the Eurovision grand final.

He is also a session musician who has played on recordings by Tina Turner, David Essex, Howard Jones and Björk.
Latvia will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, having internally selected Samanta Tīna as their representative with the song "The Moon Is Rising". She was due to compete in the 2020 contest with "Still Breathing" before the event's cancellation.
