Rebecca "Becky" Hartley (born September 2, 1985 in Richmond, British Columbia) is a Canadian baseball player. She is a member of the Canada women's national baseball team which won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games. [1] [2] [3]
Hartley competed as a catcher in softball at Simon Fraser University. She was a member of the Canadian roster at the 2006 Women's Softball World Championship, along with the 2007 Summer Universiade. In addition, Hartley competed with the Valencia Antorcha softball club in Spain.
Hartley has competed in two IBAF Women's World Cups (2010, 2012), transitioning to the game from softball at the age of 25, competing in the outfield. At the 2012 Women's Baseball World Cup, she scored four runs in the bronze medal game. Competing with Team British Columbia, she helped the squad to a silver medal at the 2012 Senior Women's Invitational (also known as the Canadian women's baseball championships).
She earned a Doctor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and is currently a plastic surgery resident at the University of Calgary.

The Japan women's national softball team is the national team of Japan in international softball competitions. It is governed by the Japan Softball Association. They are currently ranked #2 in the world by the International Softball Federation. In four Olympic Games, since 1996 until 2008, Japan has won one gold medal, a silver medal and a bronze medal. In the top four nations at the Olympics, Japan is the second most successful national team, following the United States, and beating out Australia and China with one silver medal. After winning the gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics, the Japanese national team was defeated by the United States team at the XII Women's Softball World Championship in Caracas, Venezuela.
The United States women's national softball team is the national softball team of the United States. It is governed by USA Softball and takes part in international softball competitions. The US team has been successful in international play, taking the gold medal in three straight Olympics and seven straight World championships. At the 2004 Olympics, the Americans held their opponents to only one run scored in 7 games. The lone run came in a 5–1 victory over the Australian team. However, the team then won the silver medals at the 2008 and 2020 Summer Olympics, both times narrowly losing to Japan.
Victoria Gran Hayward is Canadian, former collegiate All-American, medal-winning Olympian, professional softball player. She played college softball for Washington from 2011–14. She most recently played for the Canadian Wild in the National Pro Fastpitch. She played in the inaugural season of the Athletes Unlimited Softball league and finished in third place overall in points earned. She is an outfielder and bats and throws left-handed. She has played for the Canadian Senior Women's softball team since June 2009 and helped them win a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Noémie Marin is a former two-sport athlete that played ice hockey and softball. She was a four-time Clarkson Cup winner and she retired as the CWHL's all-time leading goalscorer.
Ashley Stephenson is a former two-sport athlete from Ontario who played baseball for Canada women's national baseball team and ice hockey in the original NWHL and the CWHL. She won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Autumn Mills is a former competitor with the York Lions women's ice hockey program. She is a member of the Canada women's national baseball team which won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Katherine "Kate" Psota is a Canadian former competitor with the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks women's ice hockey program. She was a member of the Canada women's national baseball team that won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Daniella "Ella" Matteucci is a Canadian ice hockey and baseball player, currently playing with the Team Sonnet of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). She played ice hockey with the Clarkson Golden Knights women's ice hockey program and the Markham Thunder of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL). As a member of the Canadian women's national baseball team, she won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Amanda Karlene Asay was a Canadian baseball and ice hockey player. She played on the Canada women's national baseball team from 2005 to 2021, and was its longest-serving member at the time of her death. She batted and threw right-handed, and played at catcher, first base, and starting pitcher.

Claire Eccles is a Canadian baseball player. She is a left-handed pitcher who throws three pitches, including a knuckleball. She has been a member of the women's national baseball team of Canada, and has competed in the 2014 and 2016 Women's Baseball World Cups as well as the 2015 Pan American Games. In 2017, she joined the Victoria HarbourCats of the West Coast League and became the first woman to play in that league. She was also a member of the softball team at the University of British Columbia.
Eujenna "Jenna" Afrodite Caira is a Canadian, former collegiate All-American, medal-winning Olympian, professional softball pitcher for the Canadian Wild of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). Caira was a starting pitcher for the Syracuse Orange from 2009–12 and holds the career records in wins, shutouts and innings pitched. Additionally, she is the Big East Conference career leader in strikeouts. She has been a member of the Canada women's national softball team since June 2009 and helped them win a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Emma Alyce Entzminger is a Canadian softball infielder with the Canada women's national softball team. Entzminger played college softball at San Jose State University in the U.S. First named to the Canada national team in 2015, Entzminger competed with the team at the 2015 Pan American Games and later the 2018 Women's Softball World Championship. Entzminger went on to win two international medals with Canada, first silver in the softball at the 2019 Pan American Games then bronze in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
