Laxmangarh Fort is a ruined old fort on a hill in the town of Laxmangarh of Sikar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Situated 30 kilometres (19 mi) from Sikar, it was built by Rao Raja Lakshman Singh of Sikar in 1805, who also founded a village in his own name as Laxmangarh in 1807.

He was appointed Minister of State for primary and secondary education, Tourism and Devasthan in 2018 Government of Rajasthan. Later on 20 November 2021 he resigned from his ministry post respecting Party's one man one post policy. He is a member of 15th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and a former chief whip of the Indian National Congress party in that Assembly. He is representing the Lachhmangarh constituency of Sikar district of Rajasthan since 2008 and has been a member of the INC since 1981.

Bhanwar Lal Sharma was an Indian politician. He was a 7th term Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Sardarshahar, Churu, Rajasthan. He emerged as a national figure in the Brahmin Samaj as he was President of All India Brahmin Federation since 2011. He was a Cabinet Minister of Indira Gandhi Neher Pariyojana in Rajasthan Government.
