Belal Khan (born in February 3, 1984) is a Bangladeshi singer, songwriter and music composer. [1] [2] [3] Belal Khan is born in Nalua village of Sakhipur in Tangail district. He was awarded 39th Bangladesh National Film Awards (2014) for Best Music Composition in 2016 by the Government of Bangladesh for his music composition in the film Nekabborer Mohaproyan (2014). [4] He also has won the 45th Bangladesh National Film Awards (2020) as the Best Music Director for the film Bishshash Jodi Jayre. [5]

Early life

Belal Khan is born in Nalua village of Sakhipur in Tangail district. He has completed honors and masters in Persian Language Literature from Dhaka University. [6] In 2011, he gained popularity by singing "Pagol Tor Jonno Re" with Nancy. After that, he regularly created and lent his voice to title songs of films, mixed albums and plays.

Career

In 2011, Belal debuted his career in music composition through the film "Pagol Tor Jonno Re". [1] His composition of the song "Nishipokkhi" earned him the national award. The song was written by Masud Pathik and sung by Momtaz Begum. Both were also awarded for the same song in their respective categories. [1] [7] Belal Khan has lent his voice to a song in Persian in filmmaker Ananta Jalil's new film 'Din – The Day'. [8] The song is further lent its voice to Iranian actor and singer Mohammad Reza Hedayati. He has sung the song written by Ziauddin Alam and composed and composed by the Rabbi in hassan fouaad's under-production film 'Kanta'. [9] Belal Khan has sung the title song of the film 'Jao Pakhi Bolo Tare' directed by Mostafizur Rahman Manik. [10]

Captain Khan is a 2018 Bangladeshi action thriller film directed by Wajed Ali Sumon and written by Delowar Hossain Dil. The film was produced by Selim Khan under the banner of Shapla Media. It features superstar Shakib Khan, Shabnom Bubly, Samraat, Misha Sawdagor and Ashish Vidyarthi in the lead roles. Also features Amit Hasan, Sadek Bachchu, Don and Shiba Shanu in supporting roles. It is a remake of the 2014 Tamil film Anjaan starring Suriya and Samantha. The film had a nationwide theatrical release on Eid-ul-Adha 2018.

The lyrics of the song written by Sohani Hossain, the producer and story writer of the film, and Shakib Khan and Paoli Dam performed in the song. The song was released on Deco's YouTube channel under the banner of Qinetic Network on March 30, 2017.

Mukul Chowdhury was a Bangladeshi lyricist and musical artist. He has written many songs for radio, television and more than hundreds of films including 'O Madhobi Go Theko Mor Antore,' 'Tumi Accho Sobi Acche,' 'Ek Chor Jay Chole' etc. He has also penned the song 'Ore Nil Doriya Amay De Re De Chhariya.'

Golui is a 2022 Bangladeshi periodical romantic film directed by SA Haque Alik and co-produced by Khorshed Alam Khosru. It has been made on the basis of the traditional boat race of rural Bengal and the life of the people of a vast village. The film stars Shakib Khan, Puja Cherry, Azizul Hakim and Suchorita in the lead roles. Dard, or Dorod, is an upcoming Indian-Bangladeshi psychological action thriller film written, co-produced and directed by Anonno Mamun. Kamal Mohammad Kibria Lipu, Ashok Dhanuka and Himanshu Dhanuka produced the film under the banners of Action Cut Entertainment, Kibria Films, Eskay Movies and One World Movies. The film features Shakib Khan and Sonal Chauhan in the lead roles. It is the first Bengali-language film set for a pan-Indian release.
