Benjamin Kindel (born April 19, 2007) is a Canadian junior ice hockey player for the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League while under contract to the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was drafted 11th overall by the Penguins in the 2025 NHL entry draft. [1]
His parents, Steve Kindel and Sara Maglio, both played soccer. Steve played for the Vancouver Whitecaps of the A-League and the Canadian national team. Sara played for the Vancouver Whitecaps women's team and the Canadian national team. [2]
